Amazing stay. For folks not used to being on a farm, it's a great experience to wake up and have sheep grazing outside the window and then come out and pet on them. A fantastic pit stop for us on our travels through the North Island. Beautiful river canyons nearby.

We had a great stay at this property. The house is spacious, very bright, and impeccably clean overall, with a peaceful atmosphere. It’s also well located, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby hiking areas like the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and other trails. The space is ideal for a group of 6-8 people, but it’s worth noting that the kitchen fridge is quite small, more suited for 1-2 people. Additionally, the bathroom showers could use a bit more attention in cleaning. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa, as we were busy hiking during our stay, but it’s a nice feature for those looking to relax. Overall, it’s a great place and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This was exactly what our group needed. Proximity to Tongariro alpine crossing and also near restaurants. WiFi is strong and the water in the shower was hot. Happy to have laundry onsite as well.

This was a lovely place to stay with our American friends who had not been to NZ before so it was an introduction to a NZ heartland that they greatly enjoyed. The walk up to the hilltops was a bit muddy because of the wet weather but was well worth while as the views were magnificent and the wild sheep and lambs were a joy to see and photograph. We found the open fire to be very nice warming and cosy on the two evenings we spent there .

Frances and Anton’s place was clean, cozy and very relaxed. The communication was quick and friendly, the space had everything we needed, and the surrounding was peaceful and calm. All for a great price! I would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing week-end at the Ohm for our 10 year anniversary. The place is modern, greatly designed with a lot of attention to details, and the location is breathtaking. The weather wasn't amazing but we still managed to enjoy a walk to the river and a hot outside bath. Staying indoor wasn't an issue anyway with this view and the comfort of the house. We were looking to disconnect from work and kids and we couldn't have been more satisfied.
