Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Rajpur Sonarpur

Siddharth was very helpful and responsive, even though he wasn’t in Kolkata at the time he sorted any issues that came up swiftly and efficiently. Chances are if you grew up in Kolkata in the late 80s-mid 90s, this flat will take you right back to your childhood! The kitchen could do with a refit and more lighting, but overall we had no complaints and the cleaner did a thorough job of keeping the place spotless. The washing machine wasn’t functional while we were there but the caretaker got us in touch with a local laundryman who charges very reasonable rates. We’d definitely stay here again next time we are in Kolkata!

Lovely little space. Felt right at home after checking in. Host was kind enough to allow us an early check-in as well since we were travelling from different parts. The rooms are nice and clean. Living space was neatly arranged and good for hanging out with friends and family. Had all the basic amenities and we did not have trouble with anything. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, you can find activities to do within walking distance. Axis mall is located close by. Will definitely be boarding at her place again.

For a peaceful and homely stay, this place is perfect. The room offers a beautiful view, and the host went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. Prompt and attentive to all our requests, making it a truly comfortable experience. Highly recommend this stay!

Second stay, just as good as the first. The WiFi and AC work well and are extremely reliable. Joydip's parents are a pleasure to be around and always available to help.

We felt right at home once we entered Anirban's house. There were all kinds of clean crocery and cutlery in the kitchen with aquaguard, washing machine, toaster, micro oven & mixer. 5 bottles of water was also filled up in the refridgerator. The master bedroom is a huge one with a comfy king-sized bed, extra bed, atached washroom, extra chair and all kinds of blankets and other useful stuff. Our caretaker was very responsive from the very beginning of the day. Also, the location of the house couldn't have been any better anywhere. There's also a long verandah and a roof attached. We had a gala time and an amazing experience. The only drawback I'd say would be the absence of an ac in the living or dining room which could have been the final piece of the beautiful jigsaw puzzle.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Beautiful place (even better than what you see in the pics). The balcony is huge and truly the highlight of the apartment. Very well equipped kitchen plus washing machine. The place was very tastefully and thoughtfully done up. The hosts had anticipated every need and question we might have and taken care of it before our arrival. Their Airbnb and WA communication was exceptional - proactive, prompt and clear. The onsite host did a walk-thru pf the apt to familiarize us with the layouts. All light, fan and appliance switches and EVERYTHING was labeled. They offered us complimentary airport pickup. The apt is very well located - on a quiet side street and a 12-15 min walk to Central Park in Salt Lake. Ubers are easily. City Center mall is 30 min walk. Host knows of a reliable cab service and a home cooked (Bengali) food delivery service. A truly wonderful experience at Somma’s place. Would highly recommend this property.

The property is exactly as it showed in the pictures. The location is great.

I have stayed at the place for couple of days, and I must admit house amenities were beyond expectations. I had full access to entire appartment. One room with double bed, one big hall and 2-3 balconies were available. Moreover entire appartment is very airy, you won't feel confined between walls unlike staying in a hotel rooms. House is bit away from main Street which gives you comfort of peaceful neighborhood. Host is very generous and helpful, allowed me early check-in. Overall I am very satisfied with the stay, would love to consider in future visits.

We had a lovely time staying at your place which was cosy and had all the amenities in order. The entire place was spacious, the location was right at the heart of the city and we couldn't ask for more. Will definitely recommend!

The place matched the photos and description exactly. Very clean appartment, well furnished and great location. Perfect staycation within the city in a peaceful neighbourhood.

Very pleasant stay. I found the space to be cheerful and welcoming, with a nice view from the kitchen window and a large terrace. The list of amenities is impressive (I especially appreciated the washing machine). Things aren't brand new, but they work. And lots of smaller household items are included as well. The location is great, right by the Phoolbagan metro station and good restaurants (my favorite was Falam). I found the neighborhood relaxed. It's mostly quiet at night (now and then dogs bark, but it never woke me up). As in many places in the city, mosquitoes can be an issue, so I used a mosquito net (which I'm told will be washed and ready to go), and that worked great. Anand and family were very responsive and helpful, showing me how to use a few things and promptly taking care of anything that came up. All in all, a comfortable space with lots of amenities in a great location.

This is a lovely apartment in Dum Dum, centrally located (near to shopping and business areas), yet safe and quiet at night. The park is not far where buses connect to all of Kolkata. The apartment, on the ground floor, has two good-sized rooms: bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of closet and storage space (as well as extra bedding and towels). The living area has enough space for working and other activities. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cooking and table-ware, dry foods, teas, spices, etc. There's a washing machine, hot water, and housekeeper regularly available. The hosts Nandita and Rohit are kind, responsible, supportive. They checked in to meet my needs in helpful ways, e.g., by purchasing fruits and vegetables for me (when I couldn't yet find them on my own) and to offer me Indian-style foods to try. They have a beautiful family with two children. They gave me both privacy and hospitality. I enjoyed my interactions with all of them immensely.

My friend who has never been to India and I came from the USA. I have been in India several times before but this time staying in Prakriti’s place was very satisfying specially Mantu, the caretaker became my younger brother. There is a verse says ‘ you know the tree by its fruit’. Also, ‘A good tree cannot produce bad fruit’. So for me, Montu was a reflection of Prakriti’s heart. Thank you for everything. Blessings.

First of all we want to thank Asher and Lisa for receiving us in such a perfect way and for showing great hospitality. They were always prepared to help us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Apartment is on ground floor, so very easy to reach even if you have walking disabilities like we had. It is equipped in a very thoughtful way like handle in the toilet, so you can easily get up. All necessary kitchen utilities for cooking are there. Blinkit, Swiggy, Uber and similar services work very well in the location. We were surprised that the hosts even provided a generous supply for us to make our first breakfast in the morning. All together, very easy to feel like you are at home in this apartment. We had one month's wonderful stay in Asher's and Lisa's home. We can strongly recommend it for shorter and longer stays.

Excellent place to stay. Host has done everything possible to make me feel comfortable at home. Home is very posh with a great furniture, location and all amenities. I will highly recommend this place for your travel to kolkata.

I stayed with my parents and my uncle and aunt and this place was spacious, airy and comfortable, elegantly decorated and felt like a home away from home. The location is central, with sights like Satyajit Ray's home and Subhash Bhavan nearby. The caretaker, Subhash is excellent and was most helpful with the dietary requirements of four aged people. I would definitely book this property again if I am visiting Kolkata.
