Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Queenstown

This was a lovely place to stay - a perfect mix of character and charm with modern touches. The beds were very comfy. The house was clean and quiet and Glenys was easy to communicate with.

Kellie & Kerry are so lovely, we could not have felt more welcome. This special accommodation is perfect for exploring Strahan and all it has to offer. We loved staying in the Church, it was comfortable, cozy, and had everything you could need. The fire is a rippa, as is the cute collection of rabbits out the back. Thanks guys, Andy, Sam & Gertie

We stayed a week with our large dog and were really comfortable - great undercover areas front and back where we could work on our bikes, and the shed was secure too. Inside it was cosy - choice of heat pump or wood heater; we had a lot of rain and I noticed there was no condensation overnight. Good size appliances, and thoughtful range of emergency pantry items in case people arrive after the shops shut. We were so appreciative of being able to stay with our dog too. The yard is not fenced how ever the verandah can be closed in with a gate if you have a small/non-escapalogist dog. So much to do and see - we came for the riding (motor and mountain bike) and were blown away. We also just loved exploring with our dog too, Paragon Theatre was great. Some good options for eating out too. So hope to be back.

Very cosy cottage, warm and clean with everything needed for a comfy stay. Easy to get to, with good directions from the host.

We loved our stay at Meg’s cosy and beautiful cottage. So thoughtfully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, the fire was a lovely feature and the shower was excellent. Queenstown is quirky and charming with artists’ studios and interesting walks close by. All the amenities you may need are within easy walking distance. Would definitely like to return.

Pete’s place is wonderful and a home away from home! Great location close to everything. The bubbling creek at the back is very relaxing. The outdoor games were fun and bought out the competitive spirit. The house is much bigger than it appears from the outside. Very comfortable and allowed us all to find a quiet space when needed. The owner embraced the Christmas season with some lovely decorations and treats. The fireplace was beautiful on a chilly night! The owner communicated well. Queenstown is a gem with the wilderness railway, museum, the gravel oval (Chris Fagan played on) Brisbane Lions coach (Chris - former Queenstown resident), great food and coffee in historic buildings - all well worth a visit 😊

Cosy fire, wonderful art, incredible book and game collections. Perfect host, gorgeously quirky space. Loved it, love Queenstown and hope to be back soon 😊

Melissa’s place is artfully designed and decorated to be super cosy. I loved hanging out on the swing on the porch with the neighbour’s chickens, sipping tea and looking over the grasslands. The little touches like the scented candle for the bath added to the relaxed vibe.

the house is very spacious. they even have an empty lot next door. pet friendly. you have the mountain view surrounding you. the house itself is very clean and well equiped. clear instructions of where everything is and how to use them.
