Vacation rentals with a pool in Qena Governorate

I can’t say enough about how amazing this villa is. I stayed with my family including my 3yo and my parents and everyone loved it. The villa is in an amazing location far enough so you don’t get road noise or city noise but close enough that everything you need and would like to see is in a short distance. The view from every floor over the fields and the Nile is just outstanding. The house was very clean and had absolutely everything you could need for your stay. Arlene is a great host very friendly and very helpful, also the staff in the Blue Nile Hotel next door were very helpful delivering our dinner and breakfast to the villa (plated) like our own private restaurant and the food was delicious. This would definitely be our first pick when we return to visit Luxor.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely oasis on Luxor’s West Bank, quiet and simply furnished place but with everything you need and very thoughtfully laid out. A large and very clean bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms. The garden is beautiful and the pool a treat. Valérie was a lovely host, helping us with airport transfer and trips and answered any questions promptly. The housekeeper Hagag is very helpful and can get breakfast for your stay, daily. We highly recommend this stay! To eat we liked Farmers Cafe a few minutes walk from the house by the Nile. We also enjoyed eating a delicious lunch at Marsam Hotel near Valley of Kings. Amazing and restful stay.

What an amazing place! The villa is just beautiful - impeccably decorated and squeaky clean. The views from the top terrace of the sunrise and sunset were amazing and the pool was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 boys aged 18, 16 and 11 - our 11 year old is autistic and so there was some worry about how he would would cope, however all the people were absolutely amazing and made our stay so easy. We had an itinerary arranged for trips out and were collected each day from the front door and driven to wherever we were going. On occasion we needed to change the plan but it was absolutely no issue and we were accommodated with ease. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

This is a homestay that is very relaxing and comfortable to experience and recommend.The house is located on the west bank of the Nile River, from the balcony on the second floor and the terrace on the third floor, you can also see the sunrise on the third floor terrace, see the hot balloon, and see the stars.This homestay was built entirely for hosting tourists and is now more than 20 years old.The house has a lot of design and has both local architectural characteristics, such as the large dome in the room, and has a modern decoration style.There is a living, dining, kitchen, and communal bathroom on the ground floor, and a small yard with a pool, which is very clean and comfortable.As soon as we went up to the floor of the house, we all admired it and loved it.The second floor is five bedrooms and two public toilets.Two of the bedrooms are facing the Nile, each with a balcony with a good view and one with a private bathroom.The remaining three rooms are relatively small, and they are two small single beds, and the windows are not large, and the light is normal.Beds and bedding are clean and comfortable.But the comforter on the bed doesn't have a duvet cover, it's the kind of bedding used in traditional hotels, it's actually not very convenient to cover it.The third floor is the large terrace which is part of the most attractive part of the house.The homestay can provide all three meals at your own expense.After eating our first lunch here, it was very wrong, so we ate at the homestay for two days in Luxor, which also saved the trouble of going to the city to find a restaurant and not order food.There is a special local uncle in the homestay who came to make us a proper meal, every meal is not the same, and has a local flavor.Breakfast was relatively simple, only bread, fry eggs and milk.However, if you want to eat more, you can add money to your boss to add more food.We don't care, that's what we eat.It is worth mentioning that we met Mr. Omar, the owner of the homestay, who gave us details about the situation of the homestay, said that this is a tourist company jointly funded with a Frenchman. In addition to this homestay, there was a new larger homestay not far away to prepare to open, and they were able to plan local special tourism activities, we booked the hot air balloon first flight project on the next morning (in this case, the driver picked us up at 5:30 the next day, we didn't need to go to contact the balloon company again, and we saved a lot of trouble).Omar was very nice and enjoyed interacting with his guests and always willing to offer all kinds of help to our guests, we chatted with him and felt more at home.But he said he didn't often stay in a homestay, which happened to be met this time.There are also housekeepers in the B&B, and staff in charge of hygiene, etc., although language communication is not very convenient, but it does not affect the simple communication, and everyone is very simple and friendly.This homestay is built in a village where it is necessary to reach the whole village and the road is not good, but we didn't really mind.It takes almost half an hour from the homestay to the city of Luxor by car.There is a ferry dock nearby to get to the city, but we didn't try it.All in all, we really loved it here and even just stay here one afternoon to just rest.There are of course some fine details that need to be improved.

We are a group of three digital nomads who stayed at Ali's villa for about two weeks and absolutely LOVED our time here! The location is incredibly peaceful and semi-remote (in the best ways possible - think dirt roads). We loved walking around the small markets (5-10 minute walk) and restaurants (same walk or who will deliver to you) and interacting with locals, from Ali's villa you have the perfect place to have a truly authentic experience Everyone everywhere around us always welcomed us and was full of smiles Ali and his team are amazing hosts and SUPER responsive but not overbearing We work from home online as we travel and wifi is very important to us. The speeds worked for three of us to take Zoom meetings all day (at the same time) without issue. Ali was kind about helping us renew data when we needed it The outdoor areas are so spacious and well-equipped to hang out in! The pool was a dream during Luxor summer and was used every day for two weeks! Definitely coming back

Everything was as described. A comfy bed, scented linens. You can have a nice time by the pool.

Mohamed was super helpful from the beginning, feels like home, super quiet place, you can use the washing machine (which we used once), big fridge, big bed, an outdoor pool… if you need something don’t hesitate to ask him, he gave us good recommendations for restaurant near by, places to visit and tours/experience you can book with him as well. In our stay the kettle stopped working but he replaced it immediately, the tv remote didn’t work we think it was the batteries but didn’t have time to use it more. I recommend staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elaine's, so much so, that on my next visit, I will definitely stay there again. The spacious 2 bedroom apartment has so much charm and character. It is a beautiful vacation oasis, much lovelier than a hotel. She and her husband are both quite friendly and helpful. If you like, you can also hire her husband as a taxi to collect you from the train station and to show you around. He is very nice and professional. Even the inner pool courtyard is a lovely area to tan, swim, and have fun. Overall, I highly recommend this location. See you next time.
