Love the peaceful and beautiful location. Pity that we stayed only 1 night. The safari arranged by Kamal was very fruitful. We got to see the leopard once closer up and twice at a distance. Highly recommended!

The only way to describe the White Villa is exceptional! When we first walked into the place, we were speechless about its grandeur and beauty. The Villa had everything you could need to create beautiful family memories and have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Samantha was so amazing! He organised everything we asked and more to make our stay extra special and became like our family by the time we left. One of the best villas I have been to. What I really liked about peacock villa is the location , the landscaping and the setup of the Villa, The team has done everything possible to give the travellers the resort like feeling. Although there were a few mishaps the staff communicated well and managed the situation which is very rare and admirable. The rooms were very spacious and all facilities are provided. There is also a surprise in one of the rooms for bird watches. The pool is pretty big compared to a average dip pool (this was a plus for my family). I would certainly recommend the villa for all types of travellers planning to have a good time in Negambo. Tips -- The Villa is away from the local shops, but you can use the free bicycle ride to explore the area since Negambo is one of the most outgoing towns in Sri Lanka -- Make sure you try the boat rides (Especially the Muthurajawela boat ride through the marsh towards the lagoon -- You need to pre-order meals (specially Sri Lankan breakfast needs to be ordered 24 hour prior) -- Ample parking near the Villa, But the road to get to the vill is a bit narrow witha few places that 2 cars can pass through. -- Very safe place which is pretty important --

Great location on a smaller lagoon in the Kalpitiya area. Kite surfing option right next door, but in a nice quiet area. No swimming in the beach, but the pool was lovely. We went out on the kayaks each day, and spent hours in the lovely garden. Great option for family, or even two travelling together.

This villa was home to our family of five for over a month and exceeded all expectations. Safe and secure, it's a true family home, not just a short-term rental. The pool, with all-day sun, loungers, and outdoor fans, was a highlight, along with cozy thoughtfully designed hang out spaces, effective air conditioning, large bedrooms with cozy beds. The live-in staff are so kind and thoughtful, they respected our privacy while still being available to help at any time. They prepared incredible meals, from Western favorites to perfectly spiced Sri Lankan dishes allowing us to try many new dishes. Visaka, the host is exceptional. Well-traveled herself, she understands our needs, helped with trips and drivers, and even connected us with local teachers. Everyone involved with this home is genuine, kind, and trustworthy. Memories of baking cookies, swimming, watching the waves from the deck, celebrating a family birthday, enjoying pizza nights out with live music made this stay unforgettable!

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at Sharmini’s villa. My husband and I were travelling with our 9 month old, 3 year old and in-laws, and Sharmini’s staff could not have made us feel any more welcome. They really wanted to ensure we had a lovely stay, cooking wonderful meals(chef is included and you just pay for ingredients), helping us organise a safari trip and day trip to Anuradhapura. The villa itself is located in beautiful surroundings, it was wonderful having such wildlife on the doorstep! We went on a boat trip one evening and saw a wild elephant. Bedrooms all have A/C and splash pools on balconies. Highly recommend a stay!

An absolute hidden gem. The room was immaculate, with beautiful views and a lovely decor. The pool gives you a beautiful view of Negombo lagoon and you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of animals in the night. The staff were excellent, very polite and willing to help you at any time. This was a wonderful way to finish our trip to Sri Lanka, thank you.

Wonderful place to start and/or end your trip to Sri Lanka. Don will pick you up from Colombo airport (about an hour and 15 minutes ride) and he's a safe driver. The villa lies in a rural area, very green and nice & quiet. Don is super friendly, helpful and a good laugh. We've had more than one lovely meal here. Also a 'high' tea in the watch tower overlooking the sunset over the rice fields. Bicycles are at your disposal to explore the surrounding area. Communication went very easy and Don reacts quickly to all your messages. All in all, staying here was a great experience and we highly recommend it!

It was an original cottage, nicely prepared for guests, we had privacy and in the morning we could swim in a nice pool. Nice !
