Farmstay vacation rentals in Punjab

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Jashmish cottage. Its located in very good area with mountain view. Gurpreet aunty cooks amazing food and both are very helpful. Jassi uncle suggested some great places to eat and we enjoyed there company very much. place is very clean and everything is perfect. they have good communication and they have listed all their rules on their listing page. if you are fine with the rules then go ahead and book the place without any thought.

Had a wonderful stay here. This is a perfect place for people looking to spend time with themselves and their family - free from distractions. The silence is golden - you can literally hear the sound of silence & nature. Food is pretty tasty. The helpers and really helpful. There is a countryside indoor gym, a pond, a machan - all near the house. Sir and Brinda ma'am are amazing hosts. Also this is not a hotel but a homestay - hence a lot of warmth. The dogs are playful and funny. After a very long time, I read amar chitra katha from their huge library - nostalgic. It was thoroughly enjoyable for us - we did NOTHING. Probably will be back in the next 6 months again.

Really comfortable stay at Anubha’s place. Close to the river with natural sound of the river flowing. Looks just like in the photos. Caretaker Mansingh is just a phonecall away and always ready to help with everything- from food, to getting medicines from the market, to suggesting local spots to visit in and around Dharamshala, booking taxis, planning adventure activities like Paragliding etc, and so much more. Special mention to the home cooked food which was better than most of the cafes/restaurants. There is also a small shop on the ground floor with which offers snacks, tea, coffee, maggi, breakfast etc. There is also a open garden with tables to sit near the river and relax. Anubha was also very responsive in answering all queries during our stay. All in all, good location, comfortable rooms, responsive care taker and amazing host! Also, good connectivity to the centre with a car/taxi. Would surely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dharamshala.

Our stay was absolutely incredible, thanks to the manager Sadanand, the host Mandeep and the entire team. The service went above and beyond our expectations it was above 5 stars, without a doubt! Thank you for looking after us like family; it made our experience truly unforgettable. The property was luxurious, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. As a vegan, I was initially worried about food options, but the chef was amazing and catered to my needs perfectly. January in Punjab can be quite cold, but Mandeep ensured I was always warm and comfortable. Mandeep was also such an interesting and sociable host, a true joy to be around. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be booking again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We hope to stay at your place again.

We came across this gem of an airbnb while looking up places in Amritsar. The host advised before we completed the booking that this place is 90 mins away from Amritsar. We liked the place so much that we decided to add this place to our Amritsar itinerary. My wife and I had come to celebrate our 5th anniversary and the host organized a special Ardas at the local gurdwara for us which we deeply appreciated. The stay was comfortable and the food was homely and served with a lot of love. The staff is attentive and caters to any request you may have. Wished it were sunny during our stay but the weather gods had other plans.

Truly not enough is in the description of the property to do justice to the beautiful farm and its people. The highlight of our stay was Sahib, the warmest, kindest host we have ever met at any homestay. He made sure our stay was most comfortable, treated us to the best bbq, and home cooked meals - so much so that I was no longer keeping count of what I was eating! We also had the opportunity to meet Sahib’s parents who were eager for feedback. The 95 acre property was heaven for us and our dog Tyson, who spent the entire time offleash. We interacted with the cutest farm animals, went harvesting crop, trekking. I also had the best meal of my life - piping hot misi parathas straight from the Punjabi rasoi (traditional kitchen with a clay firewood oven). The staff at the farm were also most courteous and took care of everything we needed. The room was cosy and perfect for the chilly winter when we visited. We missed a tractor ride and meeting Amrita, so will definitely be back! :)

Vatu Kutir is 6/5 stars. Sir( host) comes with a 1 plus 1 super combination with Ma'am and their support staff. One gets more than just a place to stay . I got to see a fresh perspective to life and ofcourse fresh mangoes and pears also😋 Otherwise place , location and connectivity is also great.

We had a truly wonderful stay!✨✨ The bonfire 🔥 was amazing, and the charming mud houses created such a cozy & peaceful atmosphere. The soothing sound of the running water added a special touch to the experience The hospitality was exceptional we truly felt like part of a family away from home A perfect getaway! We will comeback surely.🤞

A little heaven nestled among the pine forest! Abhinav was an amazing host. Right from being just a call away whenever we needed any help, to arranging an amazing evening for his guests including live music -oh did I mention he sings really well too?! Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better host, friend and guide. Abhinav’s father is also very sweet and it was wonderful listening to his stories about his time in Palampur. A special shout out to the staff in the property. They all are super sweet and helpful. They make the most AMAZING food one can have, making one lick their fingers almost always. Everything is freshly made, sourced from the organic farm in the prop. I overate so much! The prop has a mesmerising location. If you’re looking to cut off from the noise for a while, this is the place to be. With the warmth that you receive by everyone at the prop, it really is a “home away from home”. Close your eyes and choose this place everyone! Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
