Beachfront vacation rentals in Punaluu Beach

Beautiful, beautiful beach as we stepped out the back sliding door. Clean and lovely place, especially the first level flat with the one bedroom, living and dining area. The two rooms downstairs were adequate- no windows. We paid for the view and natural setting of the beach.

This place is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Comfortable beds and clean all around. Peter is very responsive and great host. We enjoyed staying in his place with waking distance to the beach and Polynesian culture center. Highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment in Hawaii, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was fantastic—just a short distance from everything I wanted to explore, including beautiful beaches, local shops, and delicious restaurants. Communication with the host was seamless and prompt. They were very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was a dream! It was impeccably clean and had a super aesthetic vibe that made it feel like a true getaway. Every corner was thoughtfully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Overall, my experience was amazing, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hawaii. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Janet is a 5 star host, highly recommended. We had a small issue at Christmas night, we contacted Janet and she showed up within 5 minutes with help. The place itself is good too, walkable to everything and Janet will get your parking pass ready if you choose to park with her in advance. The parking is only $15 a day and it is one block away to the building.

Love the location! The view of the diamond head and the ocean is great! Location is priceless as everything is walkable and the beach is only a block an away. We took our daughter to the zoo one day and it was also less than a 10min walk, and only an hour drive to north shore!

Jo was a wonderful host, very welcoming and full of the aloha spirit. The unit is in a perfect location and I enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the building. The walkability score is 10/10 for what I enjoyed snorkeling doing-local restaurants, water activities, and running around Diamond Head.

Unit is clean, host is friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay. Great location if you want to be in the heart of downtown Honolulu activities (Waikiki beach, shopping, bars, restaurants, etc). Small kitchen but plenty to eat in the area and didn’t use the kitchen, small bathroom but adequate for 2 people. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very quiet on the 8th floor. Only dislike was the parking….$30 / day great price but the spot is SMALL and difficult to get into. If you rent a car and are staying here request a compact car. We had a minivan and getting in the parking garage was tough especially when other cars were there and getting into our designated spot was very challenging. Had I known this, I would have booked a compact instead of manager special, which ended up being a minivan - we added a car last min for our 3 days in Honolulu after spending 10 days on Maui. Would stay here again! Great communication from host! Parking was only negative & not a deal breaker for us.

**review from someone who has stayed at the Waikiki banyan 3 times now** Literally 10/10. I have stayed at 2 different air bnbs in this building, and never been completely satisfied—not because of the building but because of the actual air bnb. Obviously the location is superb! Beach is a block and a half away and so many good restaurants close by….but i was so tired of cheap towels and linens, BARE kitchens, uncomfortable beds, etc. We still decided to stay in an air bnb this time around, because we have a toddler and it’s ideal to have a separate room and a kitchen… However, I’ve finally found the air bnb I’ve been looking for. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS HERE. All the details are executed perfectly. It’s dated but you don’t even notice it because everything is taken care of. This is how air bnb should be. Thinking of the small details and making sure you have enough essentials to last your entire time is so important and separates an ok host and an amazing host. Just book it!

The Ko Olina condo was spacious, peaceful and located in the most beautiful beachfront setting. You had views of the ocean from every room including both bedrooms. The kitchen was very functional with upgraded appliances, dishes and appurtenances. The grounds of the condo were wonderful with swimming pools, hot tubs, barbecues, and a large koi pond. Outside the gated facility was a walkway leading in both directions to other beachfront hotels and restaurants or to the private lagoon straight ahead. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer condo on the island of Oahu!

By far the best airbnb in y opinion! From location, to the hotel staff! The entrance of the hotel smells amazing! Vela’s unit is above and beyong great! The view is to die for! Very spacious! Super clean! And very helpful accommodating our needs! Mahalo!!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Me and my wife loved it! There are plenty of things to do that’s close by, the beach is about a 2 minute walk, Harmoni was quick to respond and very kind, and it was a very clean place! The only thing to note is it gets pretty loud at night with the road being right out the window. Other than that our stay was wonderful and we highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a fun stay.

We love this unit, stayed there 2 times, love white clean floors, furniture and beds are very comfortable, clean and useful kitchen, nice clean bathroom, makes us feel like at home. Great view!!! Beautiful sunsets can be watched right from the unit, and amazing location.

Excellent location close to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana shopping center, beautiful views of sunset, comfortable beds, outfitted with all basics. Host very responsive.

We stayed here for 8 nights and it was very nice and clean. Right on the Waikiki area and all the amenities are included. Sunny is very friendly and responsive. We had a late flight and he let us check out at 1pm free of charge. We enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend! 🙂

This place is a hidden gem. The beach was easily the best we have stayed on in Hawaii. We saw sea turtles swimming near shore and whales in the distance, daily! The unit was clean and just as pictured. They had everything we needed for a fun day at the beach. We also enjoyed exploring the state park north of the unit. The only drawback, and it was minimal, was the traffic in the evening getting to and from the unit.

Spectacular in every way! Gorgeous beach out the door with hardly anyone on it; stunning ocean and mountain views from inside and the deck of this beautiful, comfortable apartment; incredibly clean; close to adorable Haleiwa for restaurants shops and supplies; easy drive for hiking and other beaches; wonderful hosts! We absolutely loved our stay here!

Fantastic location on Oahu. We appreciated the beautiful pools and ability to walk to the lagoon beach with our young children. The condo is in excellent condition with modern appliances and everything you would wish to have for your stay (kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, beach gear, etc). While we liked being able to walk to the nearby resorts, we preferred the more calm, serene, and less crowded beach villas.

Perfect accommodations for our family of four. Kitchen and unit extremely well equipped and comfortable. Access to pool, pool bar and beach with three resort hotels in walking distance as well as other restaurants and shops made it extrenely easy to get settled and find varied eating options. Nice to be in a beautiful location away from busy Waikiki but with many amenities close at hand. Only qualifier is that the units are all privately owned and the property has pretty strict rules including not putting beach chairs on the balcony or laying out wet suits to dry for any amount of time (we got a notice slipped underneath our door). Overall, a very easy and pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend.

We spent eight days at Thu’s apartment before Christmas and loved every minute. The apartment was exactly as described—spotless, well-equipped, and with a beautiful lanai offering ocean views. The washer and dryer were a big plus for our stay. The location is amazing, with a peaceful lagoon perfect for swimming, gorgeous beaches, and a park-like garden around the towers. We also enjoyed the large pools, hot tub, and gym. It’s close to great restaurants, shopping, and luaus, and parking was included, making it easy to get around. Check-in was smooth, even though we arrived a day late due to a missed flight. The front desk staff were helpful, and Thu was incredibly friendly and responsive. This was the perfect place to relax, and we’d gladly return if it weren’t so far from Europe! Highly recommended.

Overall, this beautiful home was the best Airbnb stay I’ve ever experienced. The thoughtful touches throughout the house, from Christmas decorations to kids utensils… it really felt so warm and welcoming. The location is out of the way from Honolulu / Waikiki area, but perfect for our staycation. We could walk to the beach, Longs and a grocery store, and many beautiful sceneries were a short drive. Really appreciate Tanner and Kalin’s hospitality!

We had such a beautiful stay at Mary's place!! It really was perfect for us... we wanted to just bask in the beauty of the Island, and you really can't get much more beautiful than this! Every night we watched the sunset with a glass of wine... first from the beach, but then we just really enjoyed sitting on the lanai! Every morning we would get up and watch the turtles swim in the water below... Mary kindly had a pair of binoculars even! She really has everything you need! And things you don't even think of! The condo is not the most modern looking, but very comfortable! We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as well... met a lot of lovely people there each night! Everyone there agreed what a perfect place it is! The one downside was the tent cities all around... we never felt unsafe, but it was very sad to see. We would absolutely stay there again and hope to as soon as we are back in Oahu again!! Thank you Mary! Your little piece of heaven blessed us greatly!!
