Honest , approchable and friendly host

Had a wonderful stay at this wonderful oasis. Loved the set up of the house, where 3 couples had their own private sleeping areas. Outdoor kitchen and living area to meet was perfect. All the beautiful foliage, different birds and small creatures kept us mesmerized each day. Having someone there to clean up after us was an added bonus..The distance from town was ideal, made us get and walk a bit. Clear instructions and recommendations from Frederick were much appreciated.

Jeff’s house is a perfect spot for the Costa Rican jungle experience right outside of the main town. The location right next to the beach was great for our group. We spent every night hanging out on the deck. Jeff himself was accommodating and very kind, he sent us some great places to eat in town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful relaxing stay at Casa del Aura!! Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Literally a few steps from the beach. We could hear the waves while in bed. The outdoor kitchen is a dream to eat & cook in, all the basic cooking implements are provided, still rustic of course - to be expected in CR. Wonderful to have air conditioning in the bedroom. The bed is very firm. The area felt secure, tucked away from the main road. Even with people staying in the other rental on property we still felt like we had full privacy. The hammock was really nice to relax in during the afternoon. We especially enjoyed the neighborhood cats, the agoutis, the sloth that zoomed by a couple times, all the birds, monkeys & butterflies. The beach in front of the casa is not swimmable due to reefs so it was very peaceful, just people walking by once in a while. The swimming beach is just a few minutes walk down the coast. Lots to eat and do in the area, Mike had some great recommendations!

Had a great week at Alice and Eric's place. Eric messaged me on whats app when I arrived in Costa Rica and made communication and check in easy. They live on the property. I thought this would be a house, but we stayed in 2 rooms with a bathroom and outdoor patio and kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool is absolutely beautiful and refreshing. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe.

I went with my 4 kids and husband to the big house. My brother and wife to the little house and it was absolutely perfect. The location was quiet and peaceful. Both house were spotless clean. We had an amazing tim.

Angela and Randy are phenomenal souls with big, beautiful hearts, and from the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home with their warmth and hospitality. The fruit farm is abundant and gorgeous, and I loved spending time with the chickens. The home is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of cozy seating options—perfect for me since I work remotely. My favorite part was falling asleep in a bed where I could gaze up at the stars and moon. Surrounded by nature, I felt deeply connected to the elements without having to step outside. The most inspiring aspect of this place is that they built the house themselves, crafting all the furniture from reclaimed wood from the land. It’s not just a home; it’s a labor of love. Waking up to birds singing and greeting the sunrise was a daily delight, and at night, the soothing chorus of frogs and jungle sounds made for the perfect lullaby. The home was fully stocked with everything I needed. This place is the perfect jungle escape!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The host was incredibly accommodating, always available to answer questions, and provided such helpful tips for exploring the area. The space itself was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable, with fantastic attention to detail. The privacy was unbeatable, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Costa Rica—you won’t be disappointed!

The apartment is beautiful, a unique design surrounded by nature, very comfortable and with many useful elements for the kitchen. It also has a tender that is very convenient for wet beach clothes, shower outside to take out the sand. Always attentive to answer all of our questions and needs. In particular I was touched a little stained towels but I think if I communicated it they changed it to me immediately. They could improve towels and sheets . Nearby there are very good restaurants and Chiqui cafe goodisimo! I recommend driving. I would come back a thousand times and I highly recommend it!

A place to go back. The beautiful facilities, very quiet, you sleep listening to the sea and if you want to bathe you have them in the backyard. With my partner we decided to enjoy the time at the property a lot and definitely had a great time and felt super comfortable. To doña Angela, thank you very much for everything and for having us, to Lynch, thank you very much for so good communication and for lending us a little bit of heaven!!

We really wish there was an option for more than 5 stars! From the moment we arrived until the last minutes we were staying here, we felt very welcomed! The location was amazing, the tree house (green frog) was perfect. As others have commented…the only thing that could have been better. . .is if we had actually extended our stay here. Ricky and Lori were extremely friendly and helpful. The fresh cut Pipas to drink were splendid. 10/10!!! We would recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Super recommended! Ingrid is very friendly, the location of the house is unbeatable, the parking lot is private (parked right in front of the house)... Excellent price-quality ratio!

It was a very unique experience. There’s no cell service or wifi so you will need to leave the property to communicate with hosts or in general. We did love staying there and it was a very nice quiet getaway with lots of nature to connect to. There is a waterfall nearby but we found out through locals that the specific waterfall talked about it in the Airbnb is not safe without a tour guide due to robbings and assaults. I would suggest looking at the Google reviews. There are other waterfalls further out that are probably better to visit. We did do the chocolate tour nearby with the Bri Bri and it was a lot of fun. An outdoor shower would have been amazing to have at this property due to how beautiful the property is. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts and Grethel were very kind and responsive.

A very nice and also practical location so you can easily visit many sights. I stayed at the cottage with my mother and brother. We enjoyed the spacious terrace and the peace and all the comforts of the cottage. It is a bit of a good look when you have to turn in front of the gate from the road, but there was little traffic so you have plenty of time.

The cabina is beautifully constructed and exactly as pictured. The grounds are beautiful, private and secure. Karine was a wonderful person and host that truly cared about our experience. The location is great, we travelled via rental car to all the typical beach, rainforest and cultural destinations with no issues. Our favorite spot was the nearby Natural Pools. We enjoyed waking to the howler monkeys in the distance. Thank you for the truly authentic experience.
