I stayed for 2 weeks at edgars place, i really enjoyed it. Edgar is verry friendly and helpfull, the place is nice and specially the rooftop is just amazing and of top of that you have hushy an verry friendly and kind husky :)

Took Maria’s advice to hire a taxi from the airport. Bring a lot of cash and small bills for the taxi. $1 per person. Or take the bus- 50 cents per person. The house itself is clean. There’s no AC so it was quite hot and humid in February. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The water pressure in the showers was good. You have to let it run a while to get hot water but once you do, it’s great. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect in the hot afternoons. The yard has a zip line and treehouse. Bikes were provided but we didn’t use them. The house is less than 10 minutes from town by taxi. To get the taxi we walked a block on a dirt road to the main road and put our arm out. Even at 5:45am we were able to hail a cab within 5 minutes. The taxis are Toyota trucks! We really liked that we were out of the hustle and bustle of the town. The roosters are loud in the morning so if you’re not used to that, bring earplugs. Don’t leave food out or you’ll have ants.

This property is paradise! Everything we experienced surpassed our expectations and we didn’t want to leave. Wildlife- From the moment we arrived to the day we left, gorgeous wildlife was part of our daily experience. Turtles, cows, birds including watching an owl hunt at night near the back porch, we loved being able to observe animals in their natural habitat. Views - This property has stunning views of the highlands and ocean. The sunrise and sunset were incredible to view and the stars are so bright at night! Walking trails around the house allowed for some fun exploration where we saw coffee plants, lime trees, and guavas! Service - The host provided high class service, and we felt very taken care of. They coordinated all of our excursions including chef service at the home. The professionally cooked meals were incredible and used local ingredients. We can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We had such a nice stay at Tatjana and Dustin’s place! The location was easy to find (especially considering they helped arrange a taxi for us) and it was easy to access the property with their instructions. The house had everything we needed - it was quite warm and humid during our time here - and it was very nice to have AC in the bedrooms. The purified water they provided to the sinks in the master bedroom and kitchen was really nice too. We felt safe and comfortable and it was easy to walk a few blocks into town. Tatjana and Dustin were great hosts and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. They also had great recommendations for things to do/see/eat nearby. I’d love to stay here again and will recommend to my friends!

This is a very clean house. The owner has carefully decorated the interior and provided practical kitchen utensils, clean and comfortable bedding, which is a very good experience.
