Essie’s guest house was perfect for us. It was very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Essie was very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay was amazing! The house was immaculate, well furnished, and cozy. Usually after a few days of vacation we can’t wait to get back to our own home, but we all agreed that we could have stayed a lot longer at this place. You can’t tell by looking at pictures, but the shower was incredible! Some of our favorite trip moments were mornings and evenings by the fireplace. While it was too cold to enjoy the amazing backyard, we hope to return in spring or summer and stay here again. Although we had minimal interaction with the host because everything was well organized, she was very attentive when we had a question about the fireplace. We highly recommend this rental!

My wife and I wanted the full New Mexico experience and this Airbnb really made the whole trip. We also were given great recommendations from the host that made our time in Albuquerque one we won’t forget!

We were in Albuquerque for the funeral of a close friend and although that was a sad reason to be in town, Julia's place gave us the peaceful respite that we needed. Julia's place is spacious yet cozy, updated but with the heart of the home still preserved. We loved the high ceilings, large windows, and all of the skylights that let in so much natural light. My husband in particular loved the shower in the primary bedroom (great water pressure and nice and hot), and the bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, and although we didn't cook while there, we could see that it would be a great kitchen and set-up for that. The coffee and tea bar/counter were so convenient, and we appreciated that a wide selection of teas were provided. The street was peaceful and the area felt very safe. Julia gave great instructions and provided helpful information, and was also easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying at Julia's place the next time we are in Albuquerque for sure!

Lovely place to spend a few days during the hot air balloon festival! Beds were comfortable and it had all the amenities you could need. Shower had plenty of hot water, and the AC worked well. Backyard area and living room were perfect for hanging out. There was even a small space to workout with a yoga mat and weights.

Amazing view and location. The house was super clean and the neighborhood was amazing.
