Vacation rentals with a pool in Puducherry

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Saffron Villa in Pondicherry, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped into the property, I was captivated by the beautiful ambiance and serene atmosphere. The villa is impeccably designed, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. The lush greenery surrounding the villa adds to its tranquility, creating the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff at Saffron Villa deserve special mention. They were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive to every need, ensuring that our stay was seamless and relaxing. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully decorated with a blend of local and contemporary touches. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Pondicherry. The villa's location is also fantastic. It’s situated in a peaceful area, yet it's just a short drive to the vibrant French Quarter, beautiful beaches.

We had a great long stay at Kandhan's place. Would stay here again, for sure. 'Purple Resort' is located right behind Zostel. Kandhan was always communicative and helpful. The unit is exactly as pictured; spacious, modern, clean, quiet, comfortable. Great bed, AC units, many fans, bathroom, power backup, washer, balcony & view, pool. The added extra electric charge was very reasonable. We used AC mostly at night. Limited sun exposure & covered roof limits heat buildup. The power does flicker alot - but the battery backup keeps fans going. Wifi will cut out - but data worked well. 500-600irs for AC taxi into Pondi center. Many restaurants & groceries at easy walking distance. 250irs transport to Auroville visitor center. All doable without a car -- we had 1 bicycle. "Accessible Auroville" bus goes back 'n forth to Pondi, 3 times each day. $1. Resort is more busy on weekends. Weekdays we mostly had the place & nice pool to ourselves. In all a super experience & value. Thanx K.

Location is awesome, it’s a nice big bungalow- slightly old , can use a touch of paint here n there and bathroom fittings are a bit rusty…. but, rooms were clean, bedding was nice n fresh , the rooms smelled gorgeous, pool was well maintained, brace yourself for mosquitoes but, otherwise everything was perfect! Staff is very courteous and helpful.

The property exceeded our expectations - the pool was immaculately clean, and the daily housekeeping staff kept everything spotless. The ambiance was serene, and the privacy was well-maintained. The highlight was the fantastic terrace and cozy rooms with clean bathrooms. Perfect for small family gatherings or friends' reunions! The location is ideal, just a short walk from Rock Beach and merely 5 minutes from Serenity Beach. A big plus is the flexibility to cook your own meals or order from outside - the choice is yours! The place was pinpoint on whatever is in the photo. The care taker kaliamurthy did an extra ordinary to accommodate us and helped us in every inch. Only worry for us was why didn’t we book the stay for one more day. Very safe, secure and we had a very memorable day. I recommend for everyone.

The place was very serene, private and beautifully curated to provide a relaxing stay. The house caretakers were very humble and helpful. All the amenities were accessible and felt like home, will absolutely recommend and will personally visit again.

Excellent accommodation, felt like a mini resort. Probably one of the best near to Auroville. Very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by lot of greenery. The most I liked was interacting with the host, very sweet, jovial and friendly. whenever I visit Pondicherry again, I'll be sure to stay here again.

Well what a stay! Can’t thank John and the guys enough. They were beyond helpful and friendly. The villa exceeded our expectations and was clean and beautifully modern.
