We listened to Marcella's advice for our visits to this beautiful region. The garden is very well maintained with a beautiful lake view. Vezzo is a great place to stay to enjoy life at a slower pace and be at a stone throw from pristine ancient woods, it's well connected to the highway and tourist hotspot without all the overtourism. Sonia has been an incredibly attentive host and her beautiful and convenient house has been a great place to stay for us two, my mom, my sister and our pet. A useful bit of info for guests, only a staircase leads to the upper floor. But it's very safe, not steep at all and was easily walkable for my mother.

Everything about Simona’s house was great , the location was even better then the photos with an unobstructed view of the lake . Plenty of room in the house with every item you could ever need for your stay . Super friendly greeting from Simona even though we arrived a little late due to waiting for the hire car to be sorted . Absolutely loved staying , just wished I had booked for longer .

Such a marvellous house - we fell in love with its character and charm. So lovely to have all that space and the view from the terrace is stunning. Everything you need is just there, including excellent local bread and cheese a short walk away. The host was welcoming and just let us enjoy ourselves. We will be back!

The best choice you can make. A lovely combination of a great house, magical surroundings and generous hosts. A special welcome package with delicious homemade pastries, breads, fruits, vegetables, milk, juice, eggs, jams, wine, pasta, olive oil, and many other good things. It's look that a lot of thought was given to every corner of the house, the hosts thought of all the big and small things, to enjoy the guests and make the hospitality unforgettable.The hosts really took care of every detail. They went out of their way to help with anything that was needed. Elena showed us the area, helped with medical events that needed assistance.The hosts were genuinely interested in our well-being.The house is charming and very comfortable. Designed with excellent taste. The mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The environment is great and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. Paolo was very kind and communicative. He met us on the requests that were made and the stay was perfect. The house is beautiful, you sleep very well and it is located in a peaceful and quiet place. Absolutely recommended.

Beautiful bungalow with a spacious terrace (where it is fine to spend time with a good book) in a large fenced garden, near the lake. Access to the lake from the end of the private road, less than 30m walk. Wonderful to swim there and lie on the grass. Some great restaurants and a good supermarket nearby (10 minutes walk) and 15 minutes by car to Arona, a nice and somewhat larger town than Lesa. Our teenagers enjoyed themselves on the lake with a Sup that they could rent nearby. The house is very warm in August, especially in the two bedrooms. An extra fan (there was 1) would be nice😊. Opening the window at night does not give a lot of cooling and is not recommended anyway because of the mosquitoes. But again: beautiful and well cared for house in beautiful surroundings!

The big Villa is a very sweet place, we stayed in 4 couples with 3 kids and our dog. It's an old beautiful place, warm in the cold days and with private toilets for everyone. The big living room was perfect for staying together during rainy days. For my standards it was clean (my mother has a higher standard, and spotted some dust here and there, we weren't surprised as is so big). There are original frescoes on the ceilings, and some parts in their original form, so neither is everything new nor aesthetically perfect, but absolutely functional. The garden in front of the villa is fantastic and the small garden behind it is also beautiful. We stayed on the rainiest weekend of the year and could not fully enjoy the open spaces. But we will definitely return to this wonderful Villa. Thank you Cristina.

We had a great 10 days in Solcio, very nice house and garden, trees protected us a bit from the heat, nice restaurants near - boat rental as well in the port, well received by Nico, and Giulia !

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

We had a divine time with friends. The views are dreamy, comfortable rooms, nice kitchen with everything you need. We'll be back

We had a wonderful week at the Villa on the water. The grounds are spectacular, and the location is great. The house is well laid out and the bedding and living areas are very comfortable.

Relaxing stay in great house in beautiful surroundings.

It was a wonderful time in the great villa by the lake. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and cozy corners for conversations. The children enjoyed the large garden extensively. Everything worked out great. Only the late check-in time we do not find appropriate for the price and we cleaned kitchen utensils again before use. Otherwise, we'd love to come back. Thank you very much.

We were there with two families (6 people) and had a nice time, with our own pool in fantastic weather. Everything was very clean and everything worked great. Unfortunately, there were many mosquitoes and no mosquito nets on the windows in the evening.

Hi Property has a great outside space which is why we chose it, Pool ,bbq, plenty of sunbeds, music system. Inside are huge areas but didn't really use as we visited in Summer. The interior is dated from a taste p.o.v but everything you can think of is supplied and its very clean and well looked after. Area is suburban but only 5 minutes from the lake and beach, 10 minutes into the old town with goods bars & restaurants. Great host always contactable.

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

We had a wonderful week with our two kids. The apartment was very good as was the residence. Very easy to access and ideal for staying around Lake Maggiore with your family. The little less but nothing bad: the mecomprehension between Iris; us and Marina for the check-in details
