5 Terre VERNAZZA Sea View Room

Casa Cato is a very special place. Its location overlooking the main street and out to sea make it one of the best spots in the beautiful village of Vernazza. My room was perfect for my 5 night stay - spacious and very clean - and being able to sit right outside it and watch over the whole village was a perfect thing to do anytime of the day or night. The coffee and cake in the morning on the beautiful terrace was the perfect start to the day. But what makes Casa Cato so very special is it's hosts. Sara was waiting by my room door when I arrived 3 hours late from flight delays, brought me a glass of wine and immediately made me feel relaxed and welcomed and Lorena, who is very special indeed, helped me every morning with tickets and invaluable information for what I planned to do that day. As a woman who regularly travels alone I have never felt so much "at home" anywhere, because of her. Both Sara and Lorena work very hard to make Casa Cato so memorable. I will definitely return.

Our stay was great. The host is excellent to communicate with and the check in person was very friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions for dining options and the local trains and towns. We enjoyed the complimentary prosecco and nibbles on the terrace at check in. Our room included a multi USB plug and this was our only stay in Italy (4 weeks) that had the option to keep your towels or leave them on the floor for fresh ones.

This place is phenomenal! We only stayed one night, but it was one of the best nights of our trip, and I'm not sure we'll beat it. This is a well curated home, with so many beautiful details and so much care taken to ensure guests feel comfortable. The spa and sauna made it feel like an oasis in the countryside, and I would highly recommend staying in this magical location!

A balcony space features two folding chairs positioned at a small table. Potted plants add greenery, while the backdrop includes architectural elements of a church, enhancing the serene atmosphere on a sunny day.

I had a nice stay here. I booked same day and Alessia was very responsive and provided detailed instruction for getting there and self check in. The room is very stylish, and private but part of a suite (I didn’t fully get that when I initially booked). With a small suitcase it definitely felt like a bit of a trek to get there, certainly manageable, especially with the public lifts, but something to keep in mind. Depending on what your plans are in the area, very close to the Main Street and not far from the train station.

Davide was the consummate host while we were in Cinque Terre. Always helpful, suggesting and booking restaurants or making us cappuccinos every morning. The room was spotless and every detail attended to. We stayed in Relax 2 and while it was a small room with a baby, it’s perfect for two people. We would definitely stay with Davide again!

Lovely bright and clean room in centre of La Spezia. Very close to train station and local amenities. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great location. Clean, spacious room with lovely balcony in the sun. Flexible check in given as we arrived 3 hours early which we really appreciated.

The Oasi Hotel was lovely! About a 10 minute walk from the train station. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing! Only thing to not was that we were put in a different (standard) room upon arrival and had to request the attic room. It was a bit larger and nicer, but does have two sets of stairs! Overall, a lovely stay.

The room features a spacious bed with a neutral palette, complemented by a decorative pillow. A small table is set up with a kettle and tea preparation items. Large windows provide natural light, and a wardrobe is visible in the corner.

Great place to stay in La Spezia! Clean room, conveniently placed in the heart of a town square and an easy walk to the train station. Easy check-in and responsive hosts!

Our stay was wonderful! Everything exactly as described! Our host left us a small treat upon arrival which was very thoughtful considering we arrived at night and a lot of markets/stores were already closed by that time. Clean and very easy to get to! Her instructions to the apartment were very accurate. The location is in a very good spot. Close to the train, markets, restaurants.

Perfect place. In a 9-minute walk from the central station parking lot you get to the Casa delle Acciughe. In the pedestrian area, on a fairly lively street but the apartment thanks to the new windows is absolutely very quiet. Equipped with air conditioning (DAIKIN air conditioners), TV, new bathroom and with three perfectly clean towels per person. Large and comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Only flaw, but for me of little importance, in the room the Wi-Fi signal was really bad...
