More Hobbit than Batman (no parking), this little cave house is built into the limestone cliff above the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac. One of the most enchanting properties in the area, it has a garden with roses, palms, cacti and oleander. Panoramic view of the village. Parking nearby but the property has no vehicle access, only steep narrow path. This is the owner’s painting studio - easel available. Eagle owls nest above - no late parties/loud music. Idéalement situé au centre du vieux village. Proches de tous commerces et commodités. C'est un petit espace mais très confortable. Lit double, douche, WC. Il n'y a pas de cuisine, seulement un petit frigo bar, une cafetière un micro-ondes mais il y a des assiettes, des verres, etc.150 m du télécabine menant à la Station du Seignus.

Staying in ambre was a great choice. Location is right in the hear of Montpellier center . Batoul is so responsive. I wanted to check in and out early and she was completely flexible since there was no bookings. The internet wasn’t working but she fixed the situation within an hour of my arrival. She is reachable and cooperative. The apartment is cute and practical.. I had a great experience

House in the heart of the village, Pool Terrace and Garden

We loved this beautiful cottage almost carved into the side of a cliff. It was right on the road but no traffic could pass just people walking and enjoying the surroundings. The terrace above the road was a wonderful sun trap with a view of the castle, the hills and the village streets, a great place to eat breakfast, lunch or just to read. Lots of lovely books around the cottage particularly the photographic ones. Please note that it is important to leave the door to the terrace open so as not to get shut out! The back garden had a sweet pool, unfortunately the weather was a little cold for a dip in October but it looked very tempting. Outside tables and chairs made for good pre-dinner entertaining. The free parking is just down the road, very easy and we always found a space. Loved having the coffee machine. Julien was very helpful and dropped by a couple of times to make sure we had everything we wanted.

This is an amazing gite in a beautiful old medieval village. The village has all basic amenities like bakeries, small supermarket, butcher, post office and some nice place to have your morning coffee. The accommodation is extremely spacious and tastefully done. It has everything you need for a week (or two). The large living space is homey and bright. The bedrooms are comfortable, showers are very good. Juliette and Hugues have a lot of information about the surroundings and what to do in the village and further out. Extremely helpful and also in English. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a taste of an old Provence village in a beautiful house.
