The home stay, as described, was close to everything, the neighborhood is walkable and has a great range of coffee shops. We enjoyed how clean and organized the place was, as well as its proximity to major bus routes, and the pier. Will recommend to friends!

Such a cozy spot, so easy to access and use, such a perfect location at a reasonable price. Really VERY large for the Village as well! Had the feel of a country home more than a city apartment. Very charming! Evelyn was so communicative and quick to respond.

Our stay at Mignon's apartment was excellent in every way! To begin with, the apartment is beautiful, clean and spacious, the location is very good, a quiet neighborhood and public transport that takes you directly to Manhattan. Mignon is very friendly, respectful and concerned about her guests, always available when you need her. I'm very happy that I was able to enjoy it thanks to how comfortable I felt in this place. If I return to this city, I would definitely contact this excellent host again.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hung Mao’s apartment! He was an incredibly helpful host. We arrived late at night and, despite our efforts not to disturb him, he heard us coming in and warmly greeted us. He took the time to show us around the apartment, which was a nice touch. The location of the apartment was fantastic, and we felt very safe walking around the area. Hung Mao was also very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants. One of the unique touches I appreciated was the free handmade soap in the apartment—it added a lovely personal touch. Overall, Hung Mao was a nice and easygoing host, making our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Nestor was extremely friendly, responsive and stopped to chat and give recommendations on places to visit in the area. The place is comfortable, has all the amenities and a large fridge with ample kitchen supplies if you needed to cook your own meals. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend.

Great stay! Clean, well-maintained apartment with off-street parking—very convenient. Note: it’s on the third floor with stairs(no elevator), so pack light if stairs are a concern.

Milton is an amazing host, was helpful and always available from booking through the end of our stay. We stayed two of us in the apartment and it was perfect, well equipped, nice and comfy bedding, spotless clean and just few minutes walk to nearby shops, restaurants and also subway. Highly recommended, we will be back if ever coming to NYC again.

I am writing specifically to ALL the single mom's (and Dad's) who need to take some "ME" time. This place brought me peace and calmness. Words can't express how grounded I felt when I was there. The view was BEAUTIFIAL!! The host made me feel safe and comfortable. Everything that you need is in that little community, you do not have to go far at all. I have adopted this place as my "go-to". My stay here for the weekend went beyond my expectations. The hospitality is very welcoming. I was given a small tour during arrival along with the option to use amnesties to accommodate such as food, wine, etc…. Host was very responsive. For any one looking to book this room I recommend as this was my first AirBnb. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Bernards penthouse is really a spectacular penthouse - unlike many other apartments that claim to be one: The elevator brings you directly in the apartment on the 7th floor, there are two huge terraces that wrap the whole place and the 360° view of the skyline of Manhattan and of New Jersey and the skylis spectacular. The apartment ist very spacious and comfortable (with two bathroom and three toilets!). It is luxurious even though not everything is brand new. You can see that someone actually lives here, there is a lot of personal decoration, but we found this charming - a place with a soul. The kitchen is also remarkably very well equipped (Bernard is a chef!). It's not a tourist area at all, the neighbourhood is purely Latin American, simple but pleasant and the location in West New York (New Jersey) is good and relaxed. There are different options to get to Manhattan. You can take the two buses around the corner (2 minutes walk) or there are several buses a little more far away (10 minutes walk) or you can even go to the next port with the Light Rail and take the ferry from there (see timetables of NJ Waterways). Within 20 to 40 minutes, depending the option you choose and the traffic situation, you are at Port Authority near Time Square.

The house was really good and we were a large group who enjoyed our time there. We had some missing toiletries and kitchen items but Ed was very responsive to get it sorted for us.
