The location of this unit cannot be beat. It's a short walk to virtually all of the monuments, museums, White House, and the Capitol Building. The unit was spotless, everything worked, and the building has some great amenities like a pool and exercise rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to use this unit in this location for another trip to downtown Washington DC. The available parking, in the building, makes it a great spot to just leave your car and spend the rest of your trip on foot.

What an amazing location WOW, Douglas was amazing to work with, super helpful and made us feel right at home. If you love the sites of DC then this is the place for you, everything is right around the corner, Metro, White House, Mall, Museums etc…. thank you so much for a memorable trip, comfy beds and phenomenal location.

the place was perfect for my son and I when we went out to DC for Tyler the Creator concert. not far from everything. uber rides pretty cheap to anywhere. it's right in the heart and nothing is more than 4 miles. I would for sure come back here next time in DC. Patrick was a great host and very helpful.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It would not be appropriate for someone who couldn’t climb stairs. Dogs should be leashed when walking on the property and neighborhood as it is on a busy street. Our 3 small dogs enjoyed their stay.

Capitol Hill: Large Urban/Luxe Apt Sleeps 4

We had a great time in DC. Carla and Fred’s place is in a great location (Capitol Hill) an ideal residential area with local parks, coffee shops, markets and restaurants an easy 10-20 minute walk. We arrived via Amtrack and Union Station which was at 20 minutes walk, but we did a lot of sightseeing and used Ubers to get around. The place was as described and pictured. We travelled with our two 13 y. o. grandchildren and Carla allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The basement apartment is clean and cozy. I recommend it for 2 , ror a family because the other two beds aren’t truly separated from the main bed, however the 13 y.o. didn’t seem to mind, so it’s perfect for a family and gives more room and separation than a hotel room with two beds. Carla and Fred are a friendly couple with interesting stories to share. I’ll give them a 5!

Kimberly is an amazing host! I stayed at her Airbnb throughout the summer of DC and I felt as comfortable as I can be! She had plenty of bathroom and kitchen amenities. She was also extremely kind and responsive whenever something broke. Since I stayed for around few months, she was also extremely proactive in providing items like a cutting board if she didn't have it. I would say in the beginning, some of the dishes and pans were a little dirty but I cleaned those up pretty easily. In addition, if you are the type to not wear shoes in your living space, I would suggest cleaning the floors as I did. Other than that, I don't have any issues with the listing! Overall, this place is an amazing find for the price I paid, especially if you plan on staying for a few weeks or even a few months. Close to many bus stops that lead to downtown DC and the neighborhood itself is very quiet and safe. If I were to stay in DC again, I'll definitely stay at Kimberly's place again!

Marcy & Peter were so easy to communicate with and helpful during our stay. They were so accommodating with their space. The place was perfect for our family of 4 (two kids 8 & 5). It was great to have a separate bedroom for them which included their own beds. Everything was exactly as described and clean. The neighborhood is also very safe and there was plenty of parking with the parking pass provided. We will definitely stay again when visiting DC.

Great locaton and solid recommendations on food and activities. The O street museum was such a fun time. The Emissary coffee not to be missed. We walked to the mall via the rock creek trail. Dupont circle metro was super close and very convenient. The host was easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable. Tiny bathroom but worth it.

We absolutely loved our stay!! Minutes from the Metro, a school with a basketball court right across the street for my son who is in AAU basketball, quiet and peaceful after our long days exploring and sight seeing. We conquered 5 museums, The Wharf, The Zoo, Chinatown and the U Street Corridor in 4 days!! This definitely will be our go to place to stay in the District. Thank you again!!!

We had a lovely time at Nerece’s flat. The host has been helpful and always answering to our questions. The flat is located in a nice neighbourhood with good restaurants and also easy access to transportation (bus and metro). It was a perfect place to visit Washington.

Awesome 1 BR in the Nation's Capital

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was perfect for us to have a great visit with our son and his fiance. It was very comfortable and cozy. It was a special touch for Timothy to leave us some tasty goodies and croissants upon arriving. Not to mention the prime location had everything we could ask for as far as dining. We even did some people watching from the porch. We highly recommend!

The place was so nice, just like the pictures and so clean and location is very convenient, near to super markets, pharmacy, metro and bus stations.. The host answers any questions very fast and is very kind. I loved this place.

Great apartment in a great location. The apartment is spacious and very clean. We were able to walk or easily take the metro everywhere we wanted to go. Several restaurants within easy walking distance.

Awesome place in a fantastic location. You have absolutely no view once you inside the apt but for a short stay it’s worth it. The bathroom needs to be upgraded as well as the furniture. I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommended.

I had an enjoyable stay at the Woodward Building. I really appreciated that Heskel was able to accommodate my early check-in request. The cozy apartment had everything I needed and the downtown DC location can't be beat. Thanks to Heskel/Churchill and the Woodward concierge staff for making my stay enjoyable and stress-free!
