If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

The bungalow was ideal for our stay. Located in a quiet village outside of Shrewsbury it was still easy to get into the town, and also to get about in Shropshire. The furnishings were unique and interesting, but still all required amenities were provided and easy to use and the bungalow was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Joanna's cottage in Blaenau Ffestiniog! The picturesque surroundings provided a serene backdrop for our stay, and we found the location to be conveniently accessible, being within walking distance of the railway station, bus station, restaurants, and the Coop supermarket. This historical miner's cottage was quite comfortable, particularly the beds, which ensured a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the spacious bathroom, complete with a nice bathtub, added a touch of luxury at the rural setup. Joanna proved to be a supportive host, we had some issues with the heating at night but Joanna came and managed the matter professionally. She also allowed us a late checkout to adjust with our train timing. Thank you Joanna!

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay that was so peaceful but also allowed us to enjoy time with our daughter, her partner and our grandson. Beautiful surroundings that felt like being in the countryside without being isolated. The space in the chalet was plenty for the four-plus-one of us, airy and expansive. It was easy to keep a fifteen month old boy, who is just getting mobile, safe and entertained. We were blessed with the Spring weather but even if it had been poor I think we'd have not felt claustrophobic and there was a cupboard with some board games to entertain. We would recommend Kay's for a countryside break away and with half hour access to nearby towns (Kelsall village is walkable), Chester Zoo and North Wales on the doorstep there was plenty to visit. Loved it!

I stayed for about 4 months whilst working in Liverpool. Paul’s place was lovely and convenient for the train station and town - about a 20 minute walk down the canal. Paul was friendly and responsive to messages, and checked in every so often during my stay. Paul was happy for me to bring my dog with me, so we had a great time exploring the local country parks and Wirral coastline. Thanks Paul 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming but not intrusive in any way and even left us fresh flowers and Welsh cakes on our last evening. We were very comfortable, with a great shower and a very comfy bed. We had amazing views of Conwy Castle and the town was within easy walking distance. And, much to my delight, baby lambs were in the field next to the property.

A beautiful house which is well equipped with everything you need. The hot tub was loved by all especially the grandchildren. Tremadog is a lovely village with a couple of pubs, shop and chippy. An excellent base to explore this beautiful part of Wales. Some lovely walks and nearby beach. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future.

We had a lovely stay. Alison met us on arrival and we had a lovely chat with her and her husband. Both were extremely friendly but also left us to our stay unless we needed them . The house was just lovely with everything we needed plus extras such as board games and coal for the BBQ when asked. The house is set in a lovely location great for wildlife lovers and just generally peaceful. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay

This is a fabulous property tastefully decorated and well equipped. The shower was great, the central heating/running hot water perfect, and the beds and armchairs comfortable. The area is quiet, not much to do around the flat, but that's why it was quiet and that is what we needed. We have stayed in many rented accommodations over the years, up and down the country, this is one of the best we've ever been in, and would love to come back again! Thank you Lauren...

Jackie is home is a cosy and very beautifully cared for. Cottage with a sunny kitchen overlooking the city within the castle walls of Conwy. It was perfect for exploring Conway and accessible to the rolling Hills and seaside walks alongside access to local pubs and beautiful views of the castle from the terraced balcony. The short walk into the centre of Conwy made a ideal for travelling with young children, and the small bunkbeds were perfect for our kids and appreciated the access to a highchair and a safety gate that was easy to put up to keep our little one off the stairs. We would absolutely stay again and so appreciated all the detailed instructions and easy access to great Wi-Fi to help us plan the rest of our time in the UK. Thanks so much, Jackie!

We recently enjoyed a long weekend at Peter and Annette’s lovely house in Rowen. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. The family room at the back overlooking the beautiful garden and countryside was perfect for us to get together to relax, watch films and play games. However there was a separate living room at the front of the house and large kitchen/dining room too. All bedrooms were clean and had en suites which was a real bonus. Annette was very helpful before and during our stay, providing detailed info about everything you would possibly need, and supplying a cot, mattress and highchair for our 1 year old which save on the packing! There is a lovely pub just next to the house. We were welcomed by the locals, enjoyed some nice food and there was Welsh singing. We visited the Dutch Pancake House about a mile away for lunch once day which was delicious and enjoyed a day out in Llandudno. A lovely trip and the house was a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy a break.

An amazing visit. The place was perfect for what we wanted, being able to enjoy the sun in the garden, hot tub in the evening, kitchen and dinning area suitable for cooking and hosting for a large group and very comfy beds. Host was fantastic, check in and out details very clear, although nearby didn't feel overlooked at all and came over to offer to set up the outdoor seating area and bbq for us as the weather was great! Looked at recommendations in the area before going, went for food at small plates in Ruthin, canoed the aqueduct and went on a walk suggested in the airbnb folder! Would highly recommend and would visit again!

We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and some goodies which was very welcome after a long drive. The short walk down to the coastal path was lovely with great views. The pod was nice and warm, clean and exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. Everywhere on the island is easily accessible from the location. Benllech is a couple of minutes down the road and has plenty of shops, take aways and restaurants if that’s what you want. We had a lovely stay. and would recommend.

An impressive house with great space inside and out. Access to the swimming, gym, etc at the nearby hotel was a bonus too. Loads of room for a family of 5, and could easily have fitted more. Location works as a great base for Snowdonia. We got the Sherpa bus to Snowdon which was really easy. We would revommend and happily return.

We had a lovely 4 day break in Susan’s lovely lodge. It was immaculately clean and had everything you could wish for to make our stay comfortable. It’s in a lovely, quiet part of Glan Gwna. A £5 electricity card purchased from the site shop was enough for our stay. Susan made sure we had all of the information we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much🤩

We cannot fault this lodge. It was nice to return to such a peaceful location after climbing Snowdonia. The sound of the river right outside the accommodation was perfect. Facilities were excellent and everything you could possibly need was available.
