Perfect place for a family stay, ideal for relaxing. Friendly and available host. Beautiful and quiet setting. Very well-equipped accommodation, and a fireplace that makes it all its charm. We spent the Christmas holidays there, and we got the little attention from the tree. And for the kids you will even find plenty of board games! Thank you very much!

We had a very nice stay, the place has everything to rest, the location is very quiet and Michelle very nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub a lot the kids ( and the grown-ups) were delighted.

Anne is a very responsive person. The accommodation is perfectly located for a visit to Biron Castle as well as the surrounding castles. The house offers all the necessities. And the walled garden is really a plus.

Margaret is very friendly she was very responsive to our requests It's a quiet and pleasant place With lots of sites and walks to do around

Christiane welcomed us, 100% available when we arrived. The area is beautiful and the terrace offers views of the valley and fabulous sunsets. it is a farm so there are cows and so there are flies. No worries for us but maybe it would be a concern for others. Essential car even if the accommodation is located close to a whole range of very varied activities. Christiane was very available and very responsive throughout our stay, in addition to delicious small dishes. She's a lovely person and her husband too. They are very attentive, I have personally met very few hosts of this quality!

Great for a 4 day stay! We stayed there with 4 with two children, all necessities are available. Pool and location are great! Pascal is very helpful and friendly, who found us candles for our son's 4 years! I recommend

Our family, along with Milo 🐕, had a wonderful time at the gite. The place was not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. Bev and Alec were such gracious hosts, paying attention to all the little details that made our stay special. We were greeted with a lovely local welcome gift of wine, nuts, and chocolates on our beds. Even though the pool was supposed to be closed for winter, Bev and Alec kindly let my kids take a dip. They also made sure our dog was well taken care of by providing a cozy bed, bowls, and a ball to play with. You can really see how much they cherish their home, and it feels like you’re staying with family. They organized a fantastic firepit evening and surprised the kids with hot chocolates and sticks for roasting marshmallows, making for a memorable last night. Thank you so much, Bev and Alec!

We came with friends to spend a few days in Carole's pretty house. The setting is very nice and the place peaceful. The house is spacious, very well arranged and comfortable to stay in. We all had a great time.

We absolutely loved this place. There is masses of space with access to several barns and a huge courtyard which is fenced making it perfect for our two dogs. The pool is beautiful and is a sun trap. It gets the sun until it sets and the sunsets there are stunning. The hiking in the area is incredible and we would walk for at least two hours every morning with our dogs. We used the All Trails app and found some really interesting places. Anne was super friendly and helpful. We definitely want to go back.

Very pleasant family vacations in an idyllic setting with a very nice view. The swimming pool is very enjoyable. The house is very convenient and has everything you need. The nearby activities are plentiful and the landscapes of Dordogne are splendid. Stéphanie is a discreet and pleasant host.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

We had a nice stay at Marie's place. A quiet, peaceful and refreshing location close to a lake. The accommodation is small but functional, enough for a few days with 2 children. I would recommend this rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed these 10 days at the Hauts de Calviac at Esther's. They are welcoming and warm hosts, giving good recommendations for things to do around and offering a whole bunch of evening or free access activities (pétanque, dart, Molki, etc.) all in a good mood and a family and warm atmosphere. We particularly liked the access to the pool (large enough to never feel like we are on top of each other) and the BBQ (by simple reservation), but also the location of the cottage (small site away from the crowds, the cottages are positioned in such a way that everyone keeps their privacy) which allows access to a lot of sites to visit in the area within 1 hour of driving (or even much less depending on what you decide to do). The cottages are clean and functional. In short, we had a great time and would not hesitate to come back! Thank you again.
