We had a great time at Mario's! We felt right at home, and he and his staff welcomed us with open arms. Mario made such an effort with us and communicated well. He is very friendly and even came to pick us up at the train station. The restaurant is fantastic with great food and the breakfast included is lovely. The swimmingpool was a highlight and worth to take a dip in. The view is great. The room was lovely and neat with a nice aircon and fridge stocked with water and drinks. We had a lovely time!!

We were unable to make it to Buonastellapimonte - but the host was incredibly helpful and understanding and worked with us the entire process while we tried to find a way there (don’t plan to travel from Isola del Liri on a Sunday! Most of Italy shuts down this day). He tried to help us find any travel option available, unfortunately there wasn’t an option for us at the time we were due to arrive in Naples that day. We will absolutely rebook here next time and plan our travel accordingly!

The kind, generous treated we experienced at Vincenzo's place are too numerous to mention. He and his wife are consummate professionals and genuine, warm human beings. They pampered us in many ways, including carrying our luggage, providing transportation, and feeding us the most artistic, elegant breakfasts we've ever had. Vincenzo speaks English perfectly and will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We highly recommend B&B40 Steps and hope to return someday.

The villa is renovated, bright, clean, neat and beautiful. The room is cozy, nice bed, mattress and linen. The bathroom is good with a hot water shower with good pressure, there is a hairdryer. From the room there is an exit to the street, a door with a net against insects, which is good, you can keep the door open for fresh air, there is air condition. Cleaned every day. Good breakfast, drinking tea, coffee, coffee with croissants on the terrace. The location of the house is convenient, close to the final station, buses run often, you can get to different parts of the island. In 10 minutes there is a hoist, you can go up the mountain, a great panorama. The only thing we didn't understand was that a shared small kitchen could only be used for breakfast, it wasn't specified in the listing. We used the fridge. And so everything is great, we were well and cosy. Neighbors didn't bother. Thanks for the hospitality
