Very beautiful place two minutes walk from the beach (although you cannot swim there - you need to walk 15 minutes to reach the closest beach). Fazi was a great host that helped us arranging everything we wanted to do there (including surfing lessons which were great!), and offering very cheap prices for the tuktuk transfers. Also, he’s an amazing chef, we really had the best breakfasts in Sri Lanka cooked from him! He also organized dinner with a very delicious fish and meat bbq. The place has a lot of shared space, so if there are other guests it gets very social and fun. Overall we really enjoyed our 3 nights there and can highly recommend this place :)

Large property in nature by the beach (very beautiful). Tree garden with a large pool. Air conditioning in bedrooms but not in living spaces (fan). Very nice caretaker. There is a kennel with two adorable dogs. Great showers. No cook but a supermarket a few kilometers away as well as surf breaks. The only downside is the smell of the cow enclosure next to the kennel can be unpleasant at certain times of the day.

Absolutely loved our stay here, felt like home right away. Spent many hours chilling on the outside sofas which are very very comfy. Had everything we needed with the kitchen and big fridge-freezer. Marie was amazing, gave us great tips for elephant & croc spotting (we saw loads just cruising around in a Tuk Tuk). The garden was beautiful and peaceful with fruit trees and flowers and an outside shower to cool down. Staying here made our time in Arugam Bay a wonderful experience. Thank you!

A perfect place to stay just outside the busy centre of arugam bay. A bit far to walk but easy in a tuk tuk or a rental car to the many surf spots or the centre. The house is beautiful and peaceful with areas to relax on the ground floor with friends. The highlight of the booking and what really makes it worth the money is Mita - a local friend of Nicola’s who looks after the property during the day and, if you ask nicely, can help you with anything you need. He made us an amazing bbq in one of the evenings and prepared the best breakfasts for the group every morning. Thank you Nicola and Mita! We will definitely be back soon!

We loved the Airbnb. Julia is an excellent host. We only slept one night there. Hopefully we will be back one day! The main road is 10 min by walk. You can easily walk to restaurants and bars. The dogs at the Airbnb are super friendly and too cute! ☺️ Thanks for having us! Best regards Alex & Antonia

We had a great stay at Azeers and Leann's place! They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The accommodation itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine, which was a great bonus. The location was perfect: just a few meters from the beach, yet quiet and secluded, offering total relaxation. We would definitely love to come back!

We stayed here in February during the low season. Looks exactly like the pictures & is in a brilliant location. Kevin, the on site manager was nothing short of exceptional, he made us feel so welcome and helped us book everything we wanted to do. He was brilliant and made our stay!

We booked with Malika because we wanted an authentic home stay experience in a quiet, rural setting and we found exactly this and more! From the moment we were handed a delicious, ice-cold, homemade lemonade on arrival, Malika made us feel like part of her family. Our 3 days with her were some of the best of our trip. The cabana is beautiful and rustic but still very comfortable with good facilities. There's no AC but we slept really well under the mosquito net and fan. The location is great - 3 mins walk to the beach (it's not safe to swim there) and in a quiet corner of Panama village. We spent our days walking on the beach and exploring the friendly village. Our evenings were spent chatting with Malika in her kitchen as she prepared the most delicious rice and curry dinners. Malika also arranged a safari for us to Kumana national park. We invited her and her family to join us and it was a very special day out Thank you for everything Malika! We had the best time & we'll miss u
