Raquel's cabin is situated at the top of a mountain and Racquel gave very clear instructions on how to find the home. The views are fantastic. it feels very private and is a great getaway. The interior is welcoming, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. There is also a gas grill on the wraparound deck. It was mostly cloudy while we were there, but the sky cleared enough one night for us to enjoy some (very cold!) stargazing. We had a snowstorm the morning we were leaving, and Racquel was very quick to respond with some help. we highly recommend this place for a mountain getaway.

We enjoyed our time and felt very comfortable in the house. We had plenty of space to spread out. The home was very clean and offered games, fully stocked kitchen to cook meals, firepit, and much more to enjoy. We visited the area for Cherry Springs State Park to see the stars and to go hiking. We were able to enjoy one clear night at the park and it was absolutely beautiful. We were out everyday so we didn't get to enjoy the trails nearby. Thank you for sharing your place with our family. Would definitely come back!

The grounds and location were exactly perfect! We were looking for a place that was pretty dark, so we could stargaze, and it perfectly delivered. We brought the dogs and they had plenty of room to run and play. A wonderful getaway weekend!

Laura and Charlie were the perfect hosts! Their home is beautiful and in such a peaceful beautiful area. They went above and beyond by creating a book with everything in it you would possibly need to know about everything in the house and different places in the area. They were very easy to talk to very friendly and I felt like I had known them forever in the few conversations that we had they were very personable. I loved how the house was set up, it was perfect with two floors and separate living spaces so that if anybody in our group wanted quiet time or just wanted to be on their own the house offered that. They made nice personal little touches like the beverage refrigerator and the s'mores kit I thought that was really cute and well thought out. I would definitely recommend to any and all of my friends that want to visit Potter County that they should stay at Laura and Charlies place. I too I'm a fellow delawarean and I was very thankful to have come across the Laura and Charlie

We had an amazing time! Used the firepit to roast hot dogs! Enjoyed our stay as always! Saw a Bald Eagle, deer in the yard and also heard coyotes. Truly an awesome experience

This was the pperfwxt place to sit back and relax and reflect and get away from the crazy day to day life. Highly recommend going to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We will be booking again in the summer! Or even before then!

I decided to take a spontaneous day off and headed to this part of P for a bit of stargazing under dark skies—an ideal way to embrace the late fall season. The hosts, Olga and John, were incredibly hospitable, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even more memorable. The sky was crystal clear, and the temperature was just perfect for a night outdoors. Honestly, getting to know Olga and John was the highlight of my stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

This was our second stay at William’s place. We love it here! Great little cabin that has everything we need. The location is so peaceful and perfect for relaxation and star gazing.

Cute, cozy cabin as advertised! We were 5-10 mins from the local shops and restaurants, 20-mins or so from Cherry Springs! Penny even had some essentials like shampoo, soap, etc in the shower. As well as the fridge having butter, ketchup, mustard which saved us. We loved the fire pit. With a cabin of course there were some ladybugs flying around but nothing we didn’t except. Bed was comfy and I appreciated the flannel sheets with the cold nights. She even had a few DVDs and Board games that we took advantage of. If i am ever back in Galeton, I would book again ✨

The apartment was perfect base place for a few days exploring the Coudersport area. It was a warm place to return to rejuvenate after exploring in the cold weather. John and Olga provided us with suggestions for things to do and were quickly responsive when needs arose. Olga even patiently assisted me in my decision- making in her yarn store. So many options and it was hard for me to stay focused used. Thanks Olga! It was a pleasure meeting them and I look forward to returning to Coudersport to view more stars and all that it has to offer.

A perfect getaway spot! We didn’t think we could enjoy a place more than the last place Chris hosted, but this was even better. The amenities were plentiful, and the cabin was comfortable & cozy in autumn. We were surrounded by colorful trees, and the sitting area by the stream was the best place to spend hours soaking up nature and enjoying a fire. The kitchen was fully equipped; the bed was really comfy; and the huge TV in the living room kept us entertained in the evenings. There are lots of ways to control the temperature including ceiling fans in two rooms. Like Chris’s other place we stayed in, there is full WiFi. Chris has always been a great host. This time he told us the Aurora Borealis was going to be really strong, so we headed to Cherry Springs State Park for a breathtaking experience. The Kinzua Bridge and PA Grand Canyon are both just an hour away, and it’s only a short drive into Coudersport for groceries & restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice little cabin with all the basics. Great for the price

The home is lovely and very spacious. Chris was super responsive. We contacted him a few times, for things that were not issues with the house but some general issues, and he responded right away. It was very cold but we are already talking about visiting in the spring to see more outdoors. It was very cold and the heat was awesome. Kept us cozy the whole weekend.

We hosted our 2024 family Christmas here. Great space, lots of room to move around. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to gather and have fun!

Beautiful cabin with stunning views! This property is set on a rural road up a little bit of a climb for the driveway so bring appropriate vehicle! But all that made it just right! There’s another home nearby but not too near. Still felt private and a few scattered homes on the road. We didn’t see anyone else or cars until we went into town, it was very peaceful and private. The perfect romantic getaway. The wood stove heats the place very well and is cozy and creates a nice atmosphere. Hot tub was perfect! We braved it twice even in Jan. Obviously getting out is cool but it was fine, back door is right there. Cabin is beautiful inside, had a nice shower and towels provided. Everything to our liking! Good WiFi in/by cabin. (Work/kids) Jeff was a wonderful host who helped us light the wood stove and provided helpful tips for the home and nearby eateries. He was very responsive. We had a great time! Everything we could’ve wanted! One of the best weekends connecting and loving everything!

Chris’s place was wonderful for our Thanksgiving stay. We loved everything about the cabin. Very private. The fire pit was awesome and we loved the Adirondack chairs. The hot tub was great. It was very clean too! The stargazing field was amazing. It was easy for us to find. We used google maps and it took us right there. If you use your Apple map if you have an iPhone…it doesn’t provide directions. Google maps does. We had the best time and was truly one of our best Thanksgiving trips. It snowed on Thursday and the view was just gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again. We visited the PA Grand Canyon (about an hour from the cabin) on Thanksgiving Day. So lots of things to do near by one addition to all the star parks. Thank you for such a great home for our family to stay in!

Black Bear cabin was perfect for our cozy cabin weekend! Everything was clean and stocked up with supplies. Would go back again!
