Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Potomac

I had an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving stay in Culpepper! The accommodations were exactly as described and made me feel right at home. The house was modern, spotless, and incredibly welcoming, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything about my visit exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the care and attention to detail, and friendliness from the hosts. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in the area!

The place was exactly what we needed. Location was perfect to get to everything we needed and wanted to do. We were able to check in a little bit early, which was amazing and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The house was as described. It was a great space for extended family to stay together. Great proximity to DC attractions.

Jake’s place felt like a cozy getaway in a perfect location. This space was exactly what we needed and we didn’t think the pictures did it justice. The living room, kitchen and sun room spaces are so spacious and welcoming. Jake was flexible with our booking needs and willing to work with us for our accommodations. We’ve had bad luck with airbnb locations in the past and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful we didn’t have to worry about uncleanliness or other issues. This gave us peace of mind to enjoy our weekend and gathering with family & friends. I would only suggest that mattress covers be used on the beds & the master bedroom shower drain may need to be snaked as the water pool as the water did not drain quickly. Allowing pets is also a big plus as our fur babies go everywhere with us. The fenced yard was the cherry on top. I can only imagine that the yard is even greater during the warmer months. 5 stars!

Tara was super responsive and very accommodating. We booked on the same day that we arrived and booking and check in were still seamless . I prefer firmer beds, but my friend had a hard time with the bed in her room, so, maybe bring a foam topper or something like that if you prefer a softer mattress. Although it had just snowed the main walkway and driveway was cleared off. The backyard was not, but our dogs had a blast loping through the snow, lol.

Perfect for what we needed. Space accommodated eight people easily and it was a quick trip to both Baltimore and D.C. Everyone loved the extra TV room, hot tub and sauna.

David was a very accommodating host and made our stay very comfortable. We needed somewhere local to Falls Church for two nights while we moved homes. The place is quaint and as described and easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids. It’s also a very quiet neighborhood and we had a great sleep as a result. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect home away from home for our family of 4 + pup! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet, which was great since our dog is not used to city noises or traffic. It did require ride share or driving to get most places, but we didn’t mind. Convenience store around the corner came in handy, great sandwiches at Jettie’s as recommended, and a clean and spacious park for kids and dogs all within a few blocks. Would stay here again!

It was a comfortable stay at Laura's place. The place is exactly as described. It had all the amenities. Laura and Pat are very kind. They are super responsive and also go out of their way to help (eg. they lent us their umbrella since it was raining, which they needn't). We highly recommend.

This is a fabulous, affordable hideaway to return to after a day of sightseeing on the Mall. Everything was perfect. The Safeway is nearby for groceries as is the Metro. There are lots of wonderful books and games that I could have spent hours with but my trip was focused on the Smithsonian museums. I hadn't been to DC in a while and this neighborhood has vastly improved over the last 30 years. It was nice having our hosts in their own home upstairs. Lisa and John are wonderful!

Courtney’s place was the perfect spot for my visit to DC with my son. We are relocating to SC and wanted a stay in a neighborhood to give us a feel for living in the city. The neighborhood was beautiful, safe & conveniently located. We enjoyed walking to the shops nearby. The unit was spotless and very cozy. It had everything that we needed. It was private and Courtney’s family made us feel at home. I was especially grateful for the parking spot because parking is limited in that area.

Apartment was in ideal location. Situated in quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of Union Station as well as several restaurants and coffee shops. Perfect launching point for a great weekend stay in DC. We are a family of six and were still very comforable and felt at home in really nice clean apt. Thanks for a great stay!

Katherine's place was cozy and comfy. Great space for our family of four. Katherine was super responsive and agreed to a late check-out on our last day. Parking was easy. We enjoyed the neighborhood and walking to restaurants and the bus stop. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs or headphones, as you do hear footsteps and voices from the house above the basement apartment.

Stay was great had no issues with anything getting around DC from the place is easy once you get the hang of the metro. If you are traveling with 4 or 5 if kids you won’t find a better place both location and price.

Great location and perfect property for a couple. Comfy king bed in primary. Bath small but with all you need. Kitchen well stocked. Love the walkability to sites, restaurants, shops and more. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful night at the condo. Our host let us know in the morning it was clean and ready so that we could check in early. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again for sure.

This condo is centrally located and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and a walking trail. Unit was clean and comfortable. I worked remote during my time there and the space was well set up. Mark was very flexible and provided very clear instructions.

Lovely one bed one bath apartment. Host was clear and informative. Great price for the location near a Metro!

The Daisy was such a sweet little place for our family to stay! The little shops and restaurants in downtown Occoquan were also so fun to visit! The park down the street was a super short walk and so cute!

Clean space located in a very quiet neighborhood. Willie is a quick and responsive host. If you are a light sleeper, be advised that you can hear the tenants upstairs walk around. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Our group had such a great time! The house was so nice with plenty of space for our group of 8. The rooms were all a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The family room and kitchen area was great for us all to gather in. We were close to everything! Restaurants and stores were all right there. Wonderful location!
