Tando Bone bungalows Lake Poso beach

RonRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Wonderfully quiet place (we hadn't experienced it on Sulawesi) in nature, with the good care and delicious food of Annelies and her team. Cottages are sufficiently large with beautiful views over the Poso swimming lake, accessible by boat or through the rice field. Walking through rice paddies to Peura and bike ride to Tentena are fun outings. Annelies has also arranged transportation for us, from Toraja and to Ampana.
Two wooden boats rest by a wooden dock, partially submerged in shallow, clear water. The tranquil lake's surface reflects soft hues of blue and green, enhancing the serene natural environment. Pebbles and sand can be seen below the crystal-clear water.

Bamboo House Dodoha Mosintuwu

AlamaRating, 5 stars15 months ago
We came by recommendation. When we read and spoke with Lian, we were fascinating by the story, the purpose and the meaning of the Dodoha Mosintuwu. The bamboo house is integrated in the environment. As it is mentioned in Sofia library ‘Today a reader, tomorrow a leader’ I can’t wait to read Lian’s book. Coming here was not only to stay in a comfortable Homestay, eat healthy food and buy local coconut oil but as well to know about the NGO and see how women and children are empowered. Our stay was a journey of social and cultural awareness about the story of the region.
A bamboo structure with a thatched roof is highlighted, surrounded by lush greenery. A wooden walkway leads to the entrance, set above calm waters, creating a natural connection to the serene landscape.

Lake Poso Eco Tourism Bamboo Room

TheresaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I went there because of recommendations and I extended my stay, because it is such a beautiful and relaxing place. And the hosts Lian and Pian are always there if you have a question, if you want to find a guide or just want to learn more about their work, which is very inspiring! I highly recommend Dodoha for a visit and staying there for a couple of days. The bamboo houses are so comfortable with a wonderful view of Lake Poso.

A serene outdoor setting is captured, showcasing a group of six people standing by a wooden table on a grassy area. A vibrant blue lake and lush green hills are visible in the background, under a partly cloudy sky.

Amadeo Guest House

Yafi went above and beyond as a host who wanted to make your stay as perfect as possible. We were late arriving and he communicated with me the whole time that we were late and still collected us at past midnight from where the bus dropped us off. Four hours late! The breakfast is awesome and his dad and Yafi are great company. The rooms are spacious clean and surround a garden with trees so you feel private even sat outside your room. I would highly recommend this as a stopover, although better to have a couple of days as the waterfall is the best I’ve ever visited and Lake Poso is stunning and the scenery is breathtaking
