Me and my son had an amazing stay here. Lysti cottage was perfect for us and our surroundings were beautiful. We made some magical memories and Miika and Mary were great hosts! We loved riding the snowmobiles, visiting reindeer, ice fishing, and had endless fun on the sledding hill! Thank you 😀 🙏

Extremely atmospheric and spacious accommodation. Includes all the settings for comfort and Salla ski resort just a stone's throw away. It was easy to do business with Johanna and clearly and well in advance. I can recommend to others who are planning a trip to Lapland.

The shawl is absolutely beautiful with ubiquitous solid wood, moreover it is a little set back from the others. The interior is tastefully decorated, it is warm and has a beautiful fireplace. Home automation is not to be outdone since the lights and music can be controlled from the console on the living room table. The interior amenities were very complete (hair dryer, fire lighter, wood available, speakers arranged in the main rooms). We particularly appreciated the wood-heated sauna and bath, even though managing the temperature requires a little patience. Everything you'll need is at your fingertips, as everything has been thoughtfully thought out. In one word, a dream shawl for those who like to isolate themselves from the world.

The house from Anne was one of the best I know in Finnland till now. Best Chance to recharge your battery’s. :)

we stayed 1 week at Kati's and everything was perfect , the accommodation there is nothing to say everything is clean , it's big , there is everything you need. we are 50min from Rovaniemi with a direct and very accessible road. we saw the northern lights one night out the window , it was beautiful. i recommend this listing .

Great stay at a beautiful spot on top of the mountain (fell). Close walking distance to slopes and ski paths. A plus was the close by hotel where the closest restaurant can be found.

I stayed here with a group of friends. We had plenty of room, the lodge was very comfortable and all in all it was a very relaxing week. The host was very friendly and proactive in her communication.

A great cottage in the middle of the forest overlooking the lake. Pure relaxation! We felt very comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. The beautiful log cabin is located in the middle of the forest, with few neighbors and therefore great privacy. In a few minutes you can reach a lake and by car you can quickly reach the main road, which leads in all directions. In Ruka, about 5 km away, there are many opportunities to participate in outdoor activities. You will be looking for "ruka fi", we tested some and were very happy with the value for money. With the help of the Aurora app, we could even find the right evening & capture aurora lights with the cell phone camera. We had booked the place some time in advance and Ulla answered all our questions in a timely manner and thus contributed to the success of a great stay. We fully recommend the place. The Lappländer we met were all very friendly & accommodating. We loved the vast & manageable number of people, away from mass tourism. Christmas in the snow is simply magical.

We had a fabulous week. Villa was very clean and really spacious. It had everything we needed. It was cosy and warm and the beds were really comfortable. location next to reindeer park was great as easy to do some excursions. really peaceful location yet near to salla for groceries etc, Would definitely visit again.

What an amazing place to stay it was totally perfect for our family of 6 children. The house was home from home and the kids loved the gymnasium where the boys slept. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Cooking was was after a trip to the supermarket. The grounds were enormous and so beautiful. The outside sauna and kota were so much fun. As for Marja and Pierre, they are the most incredible, loving wonderful people. They were so kind and helpful. They helped with husky and reindeer rides and with hiring a car and trains/buses. True human angels that made our holiday extra special. I will forever treasure cooking sausages with Pierre on the open fire. They cooked us a delightful meal on New Year’s Eve and welcomed us like family. Thank you so much. You have touched our hearts xx

We had a great stay in Ruka. The atmosphere was very cozy and quite. We enjoyed the free fire place and sauna. The kitchen was well equiped and big enough to cook our meals. For sure you need a car but then everything is nearby - supermarket, restaurants (the pizza at Pizzaria Ruka is very good), national park, etc. We can recommend the Airbnb!

Teemu is a kind and excellent host. When we asked him something he responded very quickly and all the instructions he gave us were very clear and handy. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen had lots of utensils available. The living room was very, very cozy and had a lovely fireplace with plenty of wood available. From the cabin we had a nice view on a frozen lake and we could even see the northern lights from there (use the aurora app for alerts!). When you walk outside you can instantly start your cross country adventure along the amazingly well maintained tracks that run throughout the whole wide area of Ruka. You can easily reach the town that way as well as the amazing Kontaiinen area and more. A rental car is advisable if you don't have your own, as the public transport is tricky. You can park in front of the cabin and we found rental cars to be cheaper than we expected. All in all, everything was just perfect!

Very good stay. The host replies quickly. Easy access at any time. Location is ideal literally in front of the ski slopes. Apartment is good, you can park right in front. Don't forget your bed linens and towels as it's not included, and you need to clean everything when you leave as there is no house keeping. We were aware of it (it's mentionned on Airbnb page so it's not a surprise). That's how you get a good price for an apartment in front of the ski slopes and it's worth it! Will stay again if we come back.

Amazing home! Beautiful log cabin decorated with elegant atmospheric design. Very well-equipped kitchen in the cottage. The location is excellent. Great for a family with children.

It was a really nice experience to stay in a traditional Finnish wooden house. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was a short drive to Ranua Wild Life Park and to the local supermarkets. Warm welcome from the hosts!
