House vacation rentals in Portsoy

This was our third visit to the cottage and we returned mostly because our autistic son loves it but also because it’s just lovely. Spotless doesn’t cover it, everything was pristine and it always smells lovely. The shower is fab, I could’ve stayed in it for days. Access to the swimming pool every day you’re there is great, an hour to yourselves in a warm pool. But what makes this place even more special is the staff. We broke down on our way and Edward offered to collect us and because we were being collected, we were offered a 12pm check out. Going the extra mile for guests is not what you see all the time and it helped us immensely. The host and staff are genuine, lovely people. Our son loved it again and we will definitely be back again. Maybe on the bus this time but we’ll be there 😂

A lovely cottage in a fantastic rural location. The rooms were all a good size and very clean. The cottage had everything you could possibly need.

Lovely homely cottage with everything we needed. Dog friendly but couldn’t tell dogs have stayed previously. Great open fire and the best shower we’ve ever used!

Sheila had fantastic communication from the start and was very accommodating of our early arrival. The place is spotless and had everything needed for our stay with a lovely touch of a chocolate for our little one. Sadly we didn't get to sit out on the beautiful decking outside as we were in Elgin for a music festival but it looked lovely. Although you are next to a petrol station, hospital and can see the main road the house was very peaceful and no noise at all. We were a 15/20 minutes walk from where we needed to be, which was perfect as we were able to leave the car parked at Sheilas. Absolutely can't fault anything, great host and will gladly stay again.

Heather was an excellent host met us on arrival and showed us round house and explained clearly where everything was. Banff is a beautiful location with lots to do in the surrounding area and Heather's home was beautiful and comfortable to relax in and felt very much like home from home - would highly recommend

Excellant accommodation, everything you require for a pleasant stay, clean and comfortable, highly recommend it, will use again when I am in the area. This place ticks all the boxes.

Another lovely stay at The waves, lovely cosy home. Very family friendly, Clean tidy and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wouldn't hesitate to book again :)

Colin was a fantastic host very responsive and helpful we have booked the property long term for our contractors since the start of the year, the property was exactly as pictured and exceeded our expectations every time, our needs where catered to on every visit the property is a good size and completely spotless we have since used Dwelcome homes to book other properties in the area and further afield and will be using in the future. Thank you for hosting us and we look forward to returning

Really enjoyable stay at Darren's place. Lovely location and close enough to commute to the Aquatics Centre and city centre on a daily basis. House really well equipped. Would definitely stay again 😊

We had a great time at the cottage. The kids loved being right on a farm and the hosts were kind enough to let them have a look around and get involved. Really easy to communicate with and was extremely handy to learn of the sweet treats you could order especially when I needed to organise a cake for my birthday (which was beautiful and very tasty). The cottage was accurately described in the amenities and photos. Very peaceful place to sit outside in the sunshine and a great base to explore Aberdeenshire. The kids loved Newburgh beach and Balmedie was quick drive for restaurant and takeaway. Would definitely recommend staying here.

stayed here as we had a wedding 10 mins away. was a lovely, warm and cosy place. well fitted and beautifully done. really accommodating especially as we had a baby and needed cot. we also left something behind and Sandra made sure we got it back! thanks a million

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Jonquil and Simon were amazing hosts. We had a great time in Aberdeenshire and felt extremely fortunate to be welcomed to their home. The surrounding hills are beautiful and so peaceful, we didn't want to leave. The house was perfect for our family get-together. We all felt right at home and enjoyed their garden space as much as the inside. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely place and more welcoming hosts. We would return in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Jonquil and Simon for a weekend break we'll never forget! Ben and Emma

This was a perfect spot for us to explore the area. The house is very well equipped, quiet, full of character and amazing views. Heidi provided lots of useful information prior to arriving, which helped us to plan our trips and we will certainly look to return in the future.

Such a lovely house. Clean, airy and spacious! It had all the electricals you need ie.. washing machine tumble dryer etc, although we only used the kettle as we ate out all the time we were there. Was perfectly situated for us as who we were visiting was literally around the corner. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Thankyou so much Anne 🙂

We greatly enjoyed staying at Donald and Libby's who made us feel very welcome. They are a warm, caring and considerate couple who couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable! Donald's homemade bread and jam were really appreciated! As well as the bagpipe and guitar ! The house is large and very light, replete with all the necessary utensils to cater for large parties. The bedrooms are light and all have comfortable beds! Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your lovely former home. We'll be back!
