When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

The Limehouse Cottage

EmerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We can't wait to come back, thanks so much Grace

Hannah's Cottage, Dungloe

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This cottage is just beautiful with a stylish modern finish. Really comfy beds and spotlessly clean throughout. We had all necessary amenities and more. The location was just breathtaking. The pictures are great but it's even more spectacular in real life. The hot tub was a great addition and just elevated the whole experience. Laura the host has went above and beyond to think of everything to help you on your stay. Helpful clear instructions in little cute frames throughout the property. Laura has also compiled a really detailed and up to date folder on what is available in the area. There were some great tips about local eateries which we tried and were not disappointed!! We loved our stay and cannot wait yo come back to this beautiful relaxing gem. Excellent host!! Outstanding.

Stylish, spacious, secluded home beautiful views

GarethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent a lovely relaxing long weekend (4 nights) We are a family of 5, me, my wife our 3 boys (15, 11 and 8), and our wee dog. We all had the best time! The location of the house is a wee bit out of the way, but it is so peaceful and tranquil, and literally only a 5 minute drive to Trillick, and maybe 15-20 minutes to Enniskillen. Once we got our bearings it was fine. The beds were all super comfy and all bed sheets and pillows so clean and fresh. Showers were great too. The house is spacious with all the room we needed. Comfy sofas, and a lovely open fireplace in the living room that we made use of. The land and gardens surrounding the house are great too, our kids loved exploring the trees, and playing hide and seek until dark. Must be the longest they’ve played outside with each other like that in months! Andrew responded to any question we had within minutes and always had the information we needed. We absolutely loved our long weekend away. Thank you so much Andrew.

Streedagh Point home with stunning view

SaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The location is unbeatable and we’ve been to many beautiful places in the Irish countryside, but this is 5 minutes walk to Streedagh point beach, which is a beautiful sandy beach 😍 The view from the cottage is amazing and it’s very good value for the price. The highlight besides the location was the sauna, plus the 2 extremely friendly horses that live in front of the cottage! We’ve heard from the neighbour that they’ve just moved in a couple of days before our stay, so we were very lucky! I actually miss them already! 😅

We had an amazing stay at Harben Cottage. The view is beautiful and Nancys pub in the local village has lovely food and pints of Guinness. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy and homely. There is sticks and turf for the stove which you can relax in front of and the bed is extremely comfortable! The spring tap water is so refreshing we could’ve brought a bucket of it with us! 10/10 stay highly recommended ☺️

Mary Carpenters Cottage was a magical place to stay. Warm, clean, peaceful countryside location, excellent local pubs & groceries. The host met us in person to explain how everything worked in this unique property & even provided plenty of snacks to welcome us. Even though the cottage was 200+ years old it had all the necessities for a homely stay including watching Netflix in the evening. Highly recommended!

If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

Rosie’s cottage

JamieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved staying at Rosie's cottage for a family holiday in Donegal. The house is not huge but is clean, warm and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Carrickfinn Beach is a short walk down the road and is absolutely lovely, with white sands and bright blue seas. Mullaghderg Beach is also nearby and is also great. The tiny airport has a surprisingly nice cafe where you can get a toastie and a cuppa for lunch. There are only two or three small planes coming in and out each day, so these are actually highlights to watch out for rather than being a nuisance! Great food at the Caisleáin Óir Hotel in Annagry. Great music at the Teach Hiúdaí Beag pub in Bunbeg on a Monday night and good craic at Bonner's close to the cottage. Leo's Tavern is warm and friendly and apparently has good music too. Recommend climbing Mount Errigal and visiting Glenveagh National Park. All in all, a great place to stay!
