Great quiet location, at the end of the cul de Sac, and close to downtown. Friendly, helpful hosts. We loved the decor and the rooms are big and the beds are comfy. I would totally stay again.

Had a great stay at Owl and Otter this past weekend. Host was even kind enough and offered for us to arrive a bit early. We didn’t realize the studio/basement had a separate entrance and couldn’t be accessed from inside, but this wasn’t a huge deal. Host was responsive when we needed additional gravel in the morning as there was a lot of ice down and our cars were stuck on the hill. Would love to stay again.

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Zack and Yifei are great hosts! We chose their location for proximity to family we were visiting nearby. It’s definitely convenient if visiting the Bedford area. They have excellent taste and we appreciated the thoughtful decor touches and the clean, comfortable space. It’s a great space if you’re travelling with kids and our toddler loved his “special bed.” They were highly responsive, acting immediately to salt the driveway when we arrived and it was slippery from the night before. We only had a few issues, namely a bad wifi connection and the inability to access data from our phones inside due to poor LTE connection in the area. Zack was responsive in offering to help and, although we didn’t get it sorted, we appreciated their responsiveness regardless. The only other issue was that we did hear a fair amount of noise from upstairs on our first evening, but it didn’t appear to be an issue at any other time.

A great base for our weekend visiting friends and family in Bedford, Halifax, and Dartmouth. Very spacious accommodation with a full kitchen and a great deck. Loved all the fall colours and the quiet surroundings. Easy access to the airport for our very early flight. Everything was super clean and hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend. We didn't bring any dogs on this trip but I love that the house was dog friendly.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious lakefront home! The lake was perfect for swimming, and we spent hours each day enjoying the water. The well-appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals for our group of 9, and the location was ideal—just 10 minutes from grocery stores. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

It's exactly what we expected based on pics and reviews. We traveled during winter so many ammenities were not available, but price was adjusted to reflect that. Gorgeous design, textures, and attention to detail. Felt a lot like home to us. The driveway is steep, but doable. The only notes I have.....a garment rack in the master bedroom would have been helpful as most closet doors are locked. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 3 days at Land Yacht! Kids and adults alike all enjoyed the well stocked pool and house! There is Everything you would ever need and I mean Everything in this beautiful home. There is an extensive collection of games, and a well stocked kitchen. Everything about our stay was perfection!

Great private place to stay in Lawrencetown. Close enough to the city to visit but excluded and private with ocean front. Would stay here again if in the area!

Absolutely delighted with our stay at Richard’s Airbnb. Everything was impeccable. What a fantastic getaway location. This place offered an abundance of entertainment options, rendering external excursions unnecessary. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, games, and massage chair. A movie night in the theatre room was also a highlight. The beds were extremely comfortable and the premises were spotless. It was indeed perfect. Richard was very responsive to messages and I would love to stay again.

My sister and I treated each other to a holiday sleepover in the woods and it was perfect. The sauna was the best part, but everything was lovely. Will absolutely come back.

I did mess up by not reading close enough and book a place where it had people living upstairs, but it was my laziness and honestly the family were silent through the night. if you're staying somewhere for a week or more this place has everything you need. highly recommend

My dogs and I loved staying at Erin's, we felt right at home. I love staying at Airbnb's when it is obvious that the host cares about the guests happiness and Erin obviously cares! Pre check in I needed to be flexible with my arrival time due to getting out prior to a hurricane. I was given fast responses to any messages. I needed a space to work from and the internet was more than adequite enough to work, watch a video and play on the phone as needed. There was a power outage one day and Alex had people out to the house almost instantly to make repairs. He had NS Power engaged within the hour. I have never had someone so easily reached when problems arose. The unit was warm when it needed to be. It was well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen area. The laundry area was in the kitchen and the machines were modern adn worked well. The bedroom was large and cozy all at the same time. The unit was peaceful as was the area the unit was located in. I would definetly stay again.

My friends and I stayed at Erin’s place for 4 days while visiting Nova Scotia and it was a very calm and peaceful stay just outside of Halifax with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend going here if you want a nice peaceful stay near Halifax!
