Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Porter County

The place was more spacious than expected and had more than everything we needed. We had very few questions because Michael provided detailed instructions but he responded immediately when we did reach out to him. The house was perfect for what we needed and more spacious than expected - very cool home located on a beautiful wooded lot, with a nice screen patio and a large brick fire pit on the outside patio. I would highly recommend the home and would definitely stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

This was our 4th stay at this house. We have stayed at 2 of Annmarie's other houses also. We had some very minor issues and Annemarie took care of them immediately. She is the best host you could ever want.

This was an incredible experience for my family! The beautiful lawn and pond provided a serene backdrop that truly helped us unwind. The property’s location was perfect, offering a peaceful and safe environment while still being conveniently close to dune parks, grocery stores, etc. The farm setting was a hit with the kids. They loved interacting with the chickens and peacocks. The gardens were a great feature, with plenty of berries, peppers and beans for the kids to harvest. The owner’s thoughtful welcome gift of eggs was a delightful touch—these eggs were absolutely delicious, better than any organic ones we’ve had from stores! BTW, the kitchen was well-stocked. The swing set was another fantastic addition that kept the kids entertained for hours. Lastly, the on-site gym was impressive with its wide range of equipment, ensuring that everyone could stick to their exercise routines. All in all, this property provided everything we needed for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

A group of us stayed here for the weekend for my daughters wedding at Four Corners Winery and it was great! cheaper than a hotel room! It is a really cool older house and it was clean no complaints on the beds either. Definitely recommend!

Very clean. Everything was stocked up towels, extra sheets blankets etc. When i communicated with him, he responded very quickly and clearly. Absolutely will be booking again when back in town.

Conveniently located less than 10 minutes off the interstate but in a quiet and safe neighborhood so we got a good nights sleep. Hosts are very friendly and responsive. We opted for Uber eats and there were lots of good options. Big Roku TV in the LR and a TV in every bedroom so that was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated the coffee and condiments in the morning! Thanks so much for hosting us!
