Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portage Lake

Very peaceful, spacious and comfortable place. Great place to stay when we visit our children/grandchildren. Hosts were very responsive and their family farm has a lot to offer in the way of entertainment! Will visit again

It was cozy, comfy, great amenities. Great beds, comfortable too. And I used to live up in Maine so I knew exactly where it was at. I always love Maine. And it's beautiful when you hit fall weather without the rain.

So clean. Everything you needed for supplies was there. Location was private but neighbors weren’t too far away. Hot tub was wonderful. If you needed anything, the hosts got back to you. Beautiful place hosted by great people.

This home almost fit our needs for 6 adults The four bedrooms had full size beds but the basement had only one adult bed and two shorter children beds. So one of our group had to sleep on a couch. It worked but that person didn’t have much privacy The home had a pod coffee maker but no coffee pot. The owner reacted quickly to this issue by purchasing a Mr Coffee and we purchased the filters. We made some suggestions for additional things we felt would be helpful to have available and the owner appreciated our feedback. All in all a good stay that met our needs while having a successful moose hunt for a week. Thank you David. Bill

Cozy cottage with a beautiful lake view. Wood burning stove to heat the main room on colder evenings while the bedrooms are equipped with electric heaters. Barbecue on the deck overlooking the lake, fully equipped kitchen and very clean. Mathieu was very responsive. Our stay was incredible and we will definitely go back.

The location was great, about a 1/4 mile from the local grocery store. Very clean and vintage, would definitely stay here again!

First time ever seeing queen sized bunk beds. Automatic lights in the hallway were nice. After accidentally going to a cabin first (didn't realize they had both on site, lodge and cabins) I would probably choose one of those if I were to book again as they were very nice and had more space and a better view. The lodge room was nice though.

I had a wonderful stay. Great apartment for one person or a couple. It was well appointed and had everything you’ll need for your stay. Close to the lake and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

We had the best experience it was beautiful the lake if you the place comfortable beds the host were amazing always smiling welcoming. Make us some cookies. We are very blessed that we land to this beautiful home. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much. We are part of a new family.

Yeah so Phil’s place is off the charts and he goes over and beyond to make your time in his places seem like home. He made checking in after 7pm like no big deal and was very flexible with check in time. Which was a relief after a long drive after a long day. The place itself is absolutely stellar and such a well put together establishment to stay in. Beds are nice and comfortable and he has plenty of extra blankets if needed. All bedrooms have doors on them for privacy and plenty of closet space if needed. The kitchen has all you need to cook and coffee maker with coffee for the AM. Free laundry if needed. The bathroom was quite a treat, hey if you forget anything like tooth paste, soap etc, don’t worry Phil has it covered for sure with the necessity's. The shower in this bathroom is something special like I’ve never experienced. Potential to have water coming from every direction (pretty cool setup) Overall Phil’s places are the ones that you want to keep going back to every time!!👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Timoney Lake! The camp was nicely renovated with comfortable furniture, modern kitchen, open living space with lots of windows. The view of colorful, autumn foliage on hillside across the lake was gorgeous. Loved being right on the water, enjoying the ducks, loons and otters. Having kayaks and canoe a definite plus. Visited Houlton, Smyrna and local area. Appreciated Teresa’s gracious hospitality and communication. We hope to return!

I take a trip to Ashland every year and out of all of the places I have stayed there I have to say Andrews place is probably the best I have seen. Everything was as described and Andrew was super helpful and responded right away. The only problem I experienced was my gps brought me about a 1/4 mile away from the place on the correct road. It was not a big deal seeing as how Andrew was nice enough to send me a picture of what the cabin looked like so I just drove a little further down the road and found it easily enough. It was easy getting inside and everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need and the living space and bedroom was very comfortable. I will definitely try and book this place again for future visits.

Myles place was a spectacular stay for our quick family reunion in Madawaska. Myles went out of his way to make sure we arrived at the cabin with him so we would not get lost in the woods! He was flexible when our arrival times changed and showed us all the necessities of the home upon check in. The cabin was immaculately clean, spacious, and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and sit comfortably and enjoying the camp. We enjoyed the fire pit and paddle boat. We spotted 3 moose, 2 deer, a loon, an eagle, and a baby bear during our short stay. The camp is so peaceful and truly felt like Gods county. It was nice to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the quiet lake. Things to note- bring what you need before arrival, it takes a bit to get in and out via the dirt roads and far from stores. (But totally worth it!) rocky bottom Lake, bring wet shoes, and bug spray! Thank you for everything!

We were only able to stay one short night passing through town and spent the entire time wishing we could stay longer and enjoy this beautiful glamping cabin!! The cabin was as described, clean, cozy and fit our needs perfectly. The restroom is a short walk away but is designated for your cabin and is as clean, beautiful and well designed as the cabin. The property is gorgeous and the lights illuminating the walkway felt magical. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this cabin but hopefully you’ll get to stay long enough to fully enjoy it!! We hope to be back in future!!

Eric’s cottage was the perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway. The property was beautiful with the lake just a few steps away. We spent the weekend sitting out by the lake fishing, and had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Kevin was super responsive to our needs. His “Cozy Cabin” was more than we expected. It was immaculate and had everything you could possibly want and more. If you enjoy a peaceful serene cabin by the lake, then this is your place to be!! Thanks so much Kevin!!

All I wanted was a couple days of nothing, the cabin was just the fit. My niece and I drove around ,little shopping, the men went on a short bird hunt, card game , food,fun and relaxing in evening. We will definitely return.
