Vacation rentals in Port Underwood

Lovely place in a great location (although walking up that hill is not for the faint hearted!). We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and felt very at home for our Christmas away from home.

Great space, we booked this home for our family Christmas Day 2024, and had plenty of space for the family, the large deck area was perfect and plenty of outdoor seating space for everyone.

Had a nice overnight stay at Jacqueline's tiny home before catching the ferry very early the next morning. Easy half hour drive to Picton. Everything was as described. Very comfy bed and peaceful neighbourhood. Excellent communication with Jax, friendly and quick to reply. We really appreciated being able to have our small dog stay with us and also the variety of snacks and breakfast ingredients. Thank you, Jax!

Words cannot describe how absolutely brilliant this place is!! A quirky spot but oh so convenient, quiet, and tucked away to create privacy. The house was immaculate and the layout was great! Everything was super clean and the amenities and facilities are 5-star! We recommend this place 10000% for your stay. Had everything you need to live there comfortably! Again I would recommend Oak Tree House to anyone visiting Nelson NZ!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It had ample space, beautiful and sunny, the location was fantastic, pretty much all things were considered and thought of in this home for the stay. We would 100% stay here again.

We had a very comfortable stay here! The bed was super comfortable and the lounge space was great for unwinding. The restaurant right across the street (Styx) was awesome with tasty food and friendly staff. Check in was easy and instructions were clear. The situation of the property gave us easy access to the town, the river, Abel Tasman and more. We stayed for six nights and felt right at home.

Rhonda and Max are great hosts and the cottage was beautiful. They picked us up from the train and gave us a ride to the ferry when we left. We were greeted with a wonderful view, fresh bread, eggs and a charcuterie board. There are at least two hikes right from the cabin and more if you hike down into town. The hot tub was very nice for soaking after our hikes. It was fun having a front row seat to the train going by a few times a day. All in all an excellent stay!

We were sorry not to have been able to spend more time in this beautiful location that looked out over Nelson and the ocean. Well appointed. Great instructions throughout. Good if you don’t need a full kitchen. Bed very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing place, the apartment is super colourful and cozy and we felt really at home. The beach is only a 10min walk away and the Abel Tasman Nationalpark is an 1h drive and a must see in this area. Amanda had some great restaurant recommendations as well as other tipps for what to do and were to get food, coffee, etc. We were welcomed with a freshly baked bread that was super delicious and also the communication and check-in was superfast and easy. We weould absolutly recommend to stay at this place, you can see that a lot of love went into it and that she wants to make sure you have a great time in Nelson.

Bev is a wonderful host and a very nice person. I got a pic up from the bus and it is a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. There is a good 30 minute walk to the town center and and I enjoyed of course the beautiful view from this very comfortable apartment. Thank you!
