Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Port Orford

This place is nice and quaint. It's a little older and a bit quirky, but it felt very homey. It has everything you need and it was all in pretty good repair. The location is fantastic. It takes about 5-10 minutes walking to be on the beach. The stairs to the beach are long(130 steps), but the view is fantastic. The host was very kind and responsive. She made us feel like we were just relatives using the house for the weekend. I would certainly stay here again if we are in the area in the future.

The house was comfy, cozy, and spacious, providing everything we needed. The serene country setting was absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect environment for peace and relaxation. We were delighted by the frequent visits from hummingbirds, chickens, and even some deer! Our dogs had a fantastic time as well, making it a great getaway for the whole family.

We had a wonderful weekend, we felt like we were at home comfortable, access to the beach. No worries about anything surrounding us. It was an amazing weekend!

Beautiful home on a quiet cul-de-sac. Bedrooms were comfortable (I wish I had a master suite like this one in my house). Living room was relaxing. We enjoyed visiting with family in it. Kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and dishes we needed plus a few we luxuries we don't normally use. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay with our two pups. The house is as described, cleaned, and had everything you would need for a great stay relaxing (comfortable sofa, bed, etc), cooking if you want, and exploring the area. It's close to the beaches and has plenty of trails to explore. Nice big yard for the pups to run around (FYI it's not fully fenced, that's ok for us). We would definitely stay here again. I can't say enough about this getaway. The location was perfect, the house had everything I needed and more. It was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed at. The beds are very soft, but not in an old uncomfortable way, just softer than I am used too so something to keep in mind. I will for sure be back. Having a garage and elevator was the cherry on top. Making loading and unloading the truck so easy. It also saved my old knees for the beach.

Gary was very kind and communication was quick. He was very flexible with check in and helped us with local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again! It’s luxurious inside with breathtaking views outside. Worth the cost for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at the condo ‘Salty Shores’ in Gold Beach. It was cozy, welcoming and very nicely decorated. The bed’s mattress in the loft upstairs was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Michele was very responsive and helpful. Also, the welcome gift basket was much appreciated after a long drive! I had never used that type of lockbox before and Michele was very prompt in providing help. I’ll definitely stay at ‘Salty Shores’ again if I’m ever back in the area.

Beautiful unit in a stunning location. Magnificent view from the balcony overlooking a beautiful Oregon beach. Easy access to the beach for long walks. Gary met us personally at checkin to settle us in which was a nice touch.

Gary is a great host. Friendly, responsive and a joy to talk to. The unit we rented at the Cove was beautiful, just as pictured, and the location is magnificent. Highly recommended.

the guys liked the place and will stay there again

The Gray Whale Suite at The Cove is spectacular. From the view, the many windows to enjoy the view, the decks on both floors, the luxuriously heated floors, soaking tub, fluffy clean towels, top of the line appliances, this place offers the very best. Gary has created a beautiful space. We lived like royalty while there. We didn’t want to leave. There are restaurants nearby, the walk to the beach is very doable, and did I say the view is spectacular? The only “problem” we had was figuring out the invection stove top. Again, top of the line, it was just our inability to figure out the new fangled modern stuff. 🤣 We have Airbnb-ed a lot over the years and nothing has topped this place. I can’t wait to come back. We wanted to try a new place on the Oregon Coast. This was our first time in Port Orford. We have fallen in love with this town. So much rich history to discover, great restaurants, friendly town people. And the view! Have I mentioned that? I give the Cove more than 5 stars.

It’s self check in and out. The unit is almost brand new.The local market is only two minutes drive away. There’s a short hike close to the place. The master bath room floor has temperature control.I bet if you come in the summer, there’s lot more things to do. Overall, this is a nice place to stay.
