Loved our stay. The place was beautifully fitted out with everything you could need. Very spacious and very clean. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with recommendations for restaurants in the area.

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. The unit was well presented and so clean. The quality appliances were great too. We loved the location and we were able to get around walking basically everywhere. Terry was very quick to respond to our emails too. Definitely will look at this unit next time 🥰

Annmaree was lovely. Responded to any queries immediately and was super helpful in helping us get back some air pods we left behind. Place was immaculate and in an awesome location walkable to beach and cafes.

The place was gorgeous, peaceful with a stunning view. We would highly recommend visiting and staying at The Hay Shed! My partner and I were welcomed by not only Stella and Ian, but their pretty dogs Harley and Sasha; our pup did not feel left out. I would strongly recommend this place for couples looking for their city escape, and perhaps small families or groups too. The place had ample space and plenty of amenities. There is more space than what we had expected from the photos, and a covered area outside with chairs and bbq to top it off. The location was great, incredibly accessible with clear instructions from the host, you have Old Bar just a short drive away, and Forster and Taree a bit further out if you need something more. There are heaps of local businesses worth visiting too! All in all, great place, give it a visit!

Modern apartment that is clean and peaceful. The view from the balcony and bedroom are unbeatable and don’t get any better.

A great Villa with a magical location on the lake. Loved the sunsets and the Pelicans and Galahs and other bird life. Sharing the lakeside with the neighbours and occasional dog walkers and boat owners. The Villa has been refurbished to a very high standard. It is light and airy . I loved all the art. Felt home from home. Bedding and linen very comfortable. We both slept well. Enjoyed long suggested walks across the bridge to the town and used the restaurants also recommended. It was too windy to Kayak for us but we used the provided Sun beds. Mike was very responsive via phone when we had a checking in issue thanks.

Peaceful, relaxing, and very cozy - are a few words to sum up Alli and Isaac's humble abode. The house was well presented and very tidy. It felt like a home away from home. Alli and Isaac went above and beyond to provide a summary guide to Port Macquarie and the best places to go - paired with a nice welcoming gift! Communication was also excellent. Will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

The first thing you notice about The Boat House is the amount of space and options for sleeping, socialising and engaging in activities. The attention to detail, from catering to supplying everything a family might need for an enjoyable stay, is outstanding. My favourite part of the experience was the beautiful view over the water while dining on the verandah. The Boat House is perfect for families and multiple couples.

It was good place

Gail’s place was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful space that has been created. We were greeted by Neil who was very lovely and helpful. The photos of this place don’t do it justice, the outlook is calming and peaceful and we particularly loved sitting in the chairs provided by the river. We’re already discussing when we’ll be back.

We loved Anthony’s home, it was so beautiful and peaceful. The pool, backyard and views were the highlight. The house is a little run down but that is to be expected for a property that allows pets. That being said, it had everything we needed for our weekend away with our dogs who loved the dog beach across the road and the enclosed back yard. The fruit and veg garden were an added pleasure also! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thanks for having us.

Squeaky clean home with amazing views from the top floor. We spent 3 nights and felt right at home. Would loved to have stayed longer. Perfect location - easy access to town together with cafes and restaurants at the marina near the house also. Robert was very responsive and helpful and even popped by to open some windows for us for extra air!

Nice simple place in a fantastic spot. Arrived late but woke up to the sun rise on my feet and the sounds of the ocean are whispering in my ear. Walked across the road straight onto the sand to watch the sun come up. Nice easy walk along the water to the Cafe for coffee. The house was homely, tidy, had everything I needed and was super chilled.
