Vacation rentals in Port Bay

The view was fabulous. Our weather in Mid-October was great. Four Kayaks were there with paddles and jackets (and SUP). We used the all the kayaks and they were very good to use. The two bedrooms upstairs were good for two couples. The bedroom downstairs was barely adequate for a couple. However, the bedding situation provides opportunities for various # of guests (up to 8 ppl). The 3 couples using the bedrooms all said the beds were comfortable. The house had a great view of the lake. Try to arrive in daylight; I found it a little tricky to find the street off of the main road. After that, it was okay. There is a nice Winery down the main road about 100ft. Downtown Skaneateles was only 8 minutes away-easy drive. We did two hiking events, I think each one was only 13minute drive (in opposite directions.) Both very easy to do. Carpenter Falls did have a lot of steps after you get off the wooden platform. Plenty of room on the main floor!

Great place to gather with family and kids. Lots for little ones to enjoy and great space in the basement and backyard. Would recommend this place for family gatherings ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Scott’s beautiful lakeside home at the Finger Lakes! We stayed for three days to celebrate my wife's birthday, and this serene spot made it truly special. The house is peaceful and perfectly situated by the lake, providing a perfect escape. Scott was incredibly responsive and proactive—he made sure we had all the instructions we needed in advance, and the home was equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. It was clear he put thought into ensuring a smooth experience for his guests. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Brian and Melissa’s place on the lake was great! Very cozy and clean. Skaneateles is a great town with some very good restaurants. Also went to Seneca Falls to the It’s a Wonderful Life Museum. A must for fans of the movie. Thank you Brian and Melissa for a great last minute getaway weekend.

While the access road is not for the faint of heart and more closets/clothing storage is needed, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and organized. There were plenty of movies to choose from and a big firepit to enjoy. The property manager, Mike, was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, the cabin is a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the incredible view.

It was a perfect spot for us commuting between family and the vineyards, breweries and cideries. The cottage has great character and beautiful waterfront with a nice, relaxed vibe. The morning sunrise can’t be beat! Going during the off season made it so quiet! We loved it!

Perfect location to spend a few days exploring the local wineries and spend time relaxing on the lake. It was a quick drive into town for groceries and a meal at The Rusty Pig. We also drove down to Watkins Glen State Park for the morning then stopped at some wineries (Fox Run was a favorite) on our way home before spending the rest of the day in the water. The mornings were so peaceful watching the sunrise.

We had an amazing stay here. Kathy put up a Christmas tree and it made it feel like a home away from home. Extremely nice and cozy house to stay in. We did not want to leave the house, even when we had plans. I would stay here over and over again.
