Great stay, away from the noise and yet only a relaxed 10-minute walk to the center :) otherwise you can also simply take a tuk tuk for 50 pesos for 2 people. The people here would be very helpful in booking island tours and transportation to El Nido. Very quiet, relaxed location. I'd love to come back :)

We had a lovely stay here in Port Barton! The house is located right by the beach, and is a short walk away from restaurants/bars. The place is clean and well stocked, with everything you could need for a short stay. Thoreen and Jess were very friendly and helpful - they helped us book our transfers and tours whilst we were in Port Barton. We would highly recommend this place!

The place is perfect for a group and is clean and practical. We kept the doors closed and the windows have bug proofing so we had no issues with the mosquitoes. There is signal in the home for calls but almost nothing for internet. If you lean against the wall on the right hand side of the entrance door for a while you will get some signal eventually... enough to send a whats app message. If you looking for a affordable place to relax n Port Barton...this is the place!

It is a place full of character and authenticity just like its owner Mike who is also ready to make your stay even more memorable. Everything has been designed and thought out by him, the rooms are clean, intimate and personalized in the purest Filipino style while being very comfortable and cozy. Each bathroom is different, you have a balcony free water tea and coffee.Arlene will take care of your laundry and the entrance to Port Barton beach is 10 meters away when leaving the Castaway. All amenities are within walking distance, but the place is peaceful and calm. Everything is there to make you feel at home. I have rarely received such a welcome, traveling alone it was a pleasant surprise and a great comfort. If you like fishing Mike being a passionate can take you on his boat day or night, he can find you a shuttle,arrange according to your needs. The authenticity of Port Barton is at your doorstep. Best place to stay in Port Barton! On the edge of the beach, large area, privacy assured. We felt very comfortable there. A kind and helpful host, and a lady who takes care of the home on a daily basis. Recommended!

Our family of 5 stayed at Yumi Villas - a perfect oasis for us in Port Barton. The kids absolutely loved the stay, especially the private pool and outdoor chillout, kitchen and eating area (though still undercover). Exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable with amazing staff and groundskeepers that made us feel right at home. Reliable power and strong aircon. It rained a little while we were there but it never bothered us as the villa was so comfortable. Would definitely book again and recommend for family stay. P.S- book the exclusive boat tour with them. You won’t regret it - a highlight of our trip to the Philippines and honestly, the best boat in Port Barton!

A little slice of heaven! JP's place is an amazing escape into nature that hasn't yet been over commercialized. The place is beautiful and tranquil and relaxes you immediately upon arrival. The beach is pristine and makes for great evening walks. It is a good idea to pick up some food/drinks from the markets in town before heading over as it's about a 20 min ride. Drivers were available to take you around and are very helpful. San Vicente is still largely undiscovered so there aren't many tourists around. The recent addition of wifi was a bonus as well.
