Doris Cottage, Hot Tub, 1 Bed, Barn Conversion

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at The Good Life was lovely! The spotless converted barn felt instantly welcoming, with every detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Debbie was very welcoming and very helpful, offering great recommendations and thoughtful touches like heating the tub before we got there. The stunning countryside location provided the perfect escape. We were staying here to visit the Brecon Beacons, and the location was perfect, as it is only 20 minutes away. The highlight was the amazing hot tub—perfect for unwinding under the stars. A beautiful stay, thank you for having us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Comfortable Village House with Hot Tub & BBQ Area

SienaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Dawn was fantastic from the word go, responding quickly and clearly to messages- she’s a super friendly host! Her place was perfect for our walking weekend away with friends, we cooked there, had a dip in the hot tub, walked and went to the local pub which was great too. The house is brilliant, she’s lovely - and we’ll certainly be coming back (we hope!) Thank you so much for having us, Dawn!

Romantic cosy cottage & hottub in Forest of Dean

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay, it was so peaceful and the views were stunning. There was everything we needed at the cottage and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise, we even had an Easter egg to enjoy. Jamie and Dan were on holiday while we were there, but they still took the time to check that we had settled in okay and they were still available to contact. We loved sitting in the hot tub taking in the wonderful countryside and watching the lambs in the fields opposite. The spiral stairs are very steep, but we soon got the hang of them. We walked to the local pub which has a Mexican restaurant, which was good and the people were very friendly. Just be aware that it is an uphill walk back! We would definitely recommend staying here for a lovely relaxing break and if you like walking there are great trails in the Forest of Dean that are a very short drive away.

Gwardolau Cottage Wye Valley Retreat.

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Karl was waiting for me, when I arrived. Very friendly and informative. Always helpful and even loaned me a rucksack, for my walking, as I had left mine at home. The accommodation is only 10 mins from the Elan Valley reservoirs and the Dark Sky Park. Excellent location Both front and rear gardens have boundaries, so great for letting my dogs investigate securely. I plan to go again, after summer.

Cottage by the Sea in the heart of Mumbles Village

ElizabethRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What a lovely cottage! Perfect quiet location literally a stones throw from the seafront and shops. So many places to eat and drink within walking distance, places to buy food for self catering and nice shops for browsing. We didn’t use the car while we were there- parking was a real bonus and we had no issues accessing it. The cottage is well decorated and furnished throughout- so many lovely touches- and was bigger than expected. Everything you need in the kitchen including 2 fridges, lots of storage throughout and has lovely outside space. Jo was a perfect host. Highly recommend!

Boutique cottage in the heart of Mumbles

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Dan was excellent at communicating all instructions for accessing the property and even let us know that the cottage was available for us to enter earlier than expected. Any questions I asked were responded to immediately. Cottage was very well equipped and he'd left lots of recommendations for pubs, restaurants and walks. We had no problems during our stay but I'm sure if we had then he would have responded immediately. The only downside for us was having no rear garden but we were out enjoying the area most of the time so it didn't affect our stay. The lovely freshly laid eggs Dan had left were a bonus.

Mum needed somewhere to stay for a while as she was having work done on her house nearby and Stephen’s place was ideal for her. It’s so cosy and has everything you could need. There’s a pub close by and a shop. Stephen and his partner went out of their way to check on mum during the recent bad weather and communicated really well with me which was massively reassuring. Mum loved her stay and felt like she was on holiday. Highly recommend Stephens place for a getaway.

Old Dairy 1 - Dog friendly, luxury cottage for two

GeoffRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.
