Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Polk County

This is our second time staying here, and it won’t be our last! Such a great getaway from the city where we can just relax and enjoy each other (and the fire pit is awesome!)

Our family of four and 2 furbabies had PLENTY of room in this house. Backyard was fully fenced in. Neighborhood felt safe and had sidewalks to walk dogs. Walking distance to town- Christmas lights were beautiful. We rode Wolfpen trails all weekend- rode SXS to West trailhead directly from house. Breathtaking ride and views! We had the absolute best time

Nice quiet place to relax but also near some great hiking and atv trails.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook at home. The house is very close to hiking and offroading trails. Overall we had a very comfortable stay. We would definitely come back to this place in the future.

We couldn't have asked for a more homey, welcoming atmosphere to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was a halfway point between our home in Illinois and our Texas family, so we tried something new and met in the middle. It was risky but we are so thankful for this little gem in Mena, Arkansas where we stayed cozy, warm and comfortable. The space was just the right size and layout for the four of us, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. We enjoyed petting sweet Smokie the kittie, watching the birds and deer from the back porch, cooking delicious meals, baking cookies, and enjoying Christmas movies and football. The men went golfing one day while the ladies stayed home and built puzzles and worked on macramé projects. Though we did not get to meet our hosts in person, they were very friendly and responsive via text leading up to, during, and after our stay. We all agreed we'd like to come back again sometime!

Hensley House is a great find for a comfortable stay in Mena. Leslie is fantastic. She came right over to help me when I had trouble figuring out the convection stove. The house is spotless and looks just like the pictures. Thank you for everything!

This was our second trip to the area and while you can ride to the Wolf Pen Gap trail system, the 18 miles of super dusty road was rough due to no rain in the area for some time. This year, we did it once, and then trailered to the West Trail head the rest of the time. It was a short, 30 min drive to trailer there. Overall, the house was great. Beds were adequate. A/C and hot water worked really well. The internet was super slow, so we couldn’t actually watch the television. Overall, I would stay here again. The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths were definitely a bargain.

The cottage had everything I needed for my visit to Mena. The deck is very pleasant in the evenings.

We were very lucky to get this spot. It was beautiful, spacious and pristine clean. It was memorial day holiday and we felt very blessed for getting it.

Scott's place was a perfect stay and a great location for me while working in Mena. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends!

Brandon's apartment was more than we expected. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. We completely enjoyed the hot tub, even though we were only there for 1 night as we were passing through, we were able to explore the little town and have breakfast at a great little cafe. We will absolutely be back. thank you for providing such a quaint, comfortable place; one that we look forward to staying at again.

The apartment was great! Kimberly was always quick to respond when needed. We definitely would recommend staying with this hostess.
