Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Poitou-Charentes

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's - more than 30. So when I say Allison & David were the best hosts I've ever had, it means something. The day we arrived, they greeted us at the door, introduced us small and friendly chihuahuas, and showed us around the place. The interior was in amazing shape, especially for a 350 year old building! They had bread with homemade jam for us in the fridge (delicious) which we enjoyed over our 3 days there. Me and my travel companions loved chatting with them in the morning and getting local tips, including several restaurant recommendations. On a day where we had transportation issues, David was grabbing his keys to bring us down the road before we even had a chance to ask. The home was truly beautiful but the hosts really made the trip for us. I know we would love to come back if we ever have a chance.

We had a warm and smiling welcome from Anna and Joy with all the instructions that needed to know like opening the pool! They ended up giving us the best places to visit around. The house is warm like the hosts, with well-made beds and bath towels. We even had a small package of chamallow to melt in the fire pit. Our stay was great despite the slightly gray weather. You can go without fear, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Anna and Joy!

We had an absolutely perfect stay in this cozy and cozy cottage. The bed is very comfortable, and everything you need is available for a pleasant stay. The Nordic bath under the stars was a magical moment, a real break of relaxation. Amanda is a lovely host, very homely and caring. A big favorite also for the farm animals, all more cute and cuddly than each other. A great place to recharge, we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a great time at Laëtitia's cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, very clean, perfectly suited for the 3 families with children that we were. We enjoyed the large kitchen, the cozy living room with wood stove and pool table and the children enjoyed the play area provided. The cottage is very well located, the countryside around is conducive to walks and bike rides, it is a beautiful region that we discovered! We also enjoyed Lake St Pardoux which is 10 min by car, perfect for jogging and playing with the kids. Thanks again!

Nice cosy place, simple and pretty. The cat is friendly. The town has a unique charm to it. Beautiful walks by the rivers.

Very atmospheric old Manor House .Beautifully decorated to a very high standard . The town is lovely with some good restaurants.We loved it here ,a short stroll to the river was delightful.The Saturday market was a gourmets heaven. Tegan is a great host who provides a communal breakfast fit for royalty .

Beautiful listing, very well centered, great and flexible host , very quiet neighborhood, very interesting architecture, I always enjoy my stay in Harold’s places in Saumur , and I am very looking forward to return soon

We had a pleasant evening in the cabin nestled among the vineyards! The place is peaceful, we were able to recharge our batteries and start the year with peace of mind. The awakening with a view of the vineyard was amazing! We highly recommend this experience.

We spent New Year's Eve in this lovely cabin. The awakening was beautiful, a splendid sunrise on fields as far as the eye can see, and nicely frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for their warm welcome.

Excellent relaxing stay within the barl of Yohann and Maud. The common sanitary area immersed us in a camping atmosphere 😎✌️ The environment is quiet and peaceful. The owners gave us a lovely welcome and are incredibly kind. The bad weather didn't allow us to swim in the pool, which made us want to dive a head in it. Very beautiful experience 👍 All crowned by a beautiful associative project! 👏

We had a beautiful stay at Ronan’s property. It was so peaceful and quiet, which made it the most relaxing stay. We knew we wanted to cook every night and the kitchen was stocked amazingly with everything you could need. We would stay there again and I’ve recommended it to everyone I know, it was just that amazing!

If you like the countryside , animals and a total change of scenery "2 steps from Bordeaux" go for it! What a treat to wake up surrounded by geese , a wallaby , an alpaca , adorable sheep and goats in such a soothing environment! Not to mention the usable H24 hot tub! A real must especially with children! We will soon return to sunny days enjoy the pool and a meal made on the fire pit in front of the pond! Thank you Anthony and congratulations; don't change anything! 😍

We really enjoyed staying here! The mobile home is bright and cosy and warm. We loved the big windows and terrasse. It was peaceful and private and communication was easy, Alexandra was kind and let us check in early. We hope to return and spend longer there :)
