I had a lovely stay. I work overnights and cherish quiet places like this. I almost can never sleep during the day without ear plugs and a noise machine. It was so peaceful! The hot tube and outdoor shower are amazing. The host was very friendly and responsive. They talked on the phone with me twice, once before I got there, and once after, but left me to my privacy. Honestly couldn't think of a single improvement. The house is clearly lived in and has everything you could think of. The bedrooms are older, but that's part of the charm. I spent most of my afternoons waking up on the deck or throwing the ball for my dogs. I wish I could stay here every time!

We loved our stay here! Cozy and beautiful. Walkable to downtown and the beach. The art work all around us made the trip even more meaningful. Thank you Sha Sha!

Lori’s place was amazing and such a great get away! Very nice space and location and had everything you need for a relaxing visit.

If you need to stay in West Berkeley, this is a very convenient spot. The cottage is unusual and artistic. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs kitchen with loads of windows.

The place was a stand-alone building with windows on 4 sides and 2 glass doors so could really enjoy the views, still being private. Parking right outside the door. others were staying on the property as well, but no noise; very quiet. place had just what I needed, simple and clean--great. communication was great and Hila was responsive and helpful. Great stay, would stay there again -- thank you!

Had a lovely time at this house! The hot tub was especially great. It felt like a private oasis in the woods, despite there being neighbors relatively close by. We also appreciated the large couches in the living room and well stocked kitchen.

I highly recommend this hidden gem and hope to return soon. The fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings were absolutely energizing. And I had the best night's sleep in months. My stay could only have been better if I had time to explore this beautiful property.

Oh how I wish I could actually live here, I did not want to leave. This home had everything and more! My favorite part of the home would have to be the upstairs living room with the comfortable couch, beanbag chair, and huge TV. What more could you ask for? 10/10 experience, I will be back!

Julia’s place was very family friendly. It had everything we needed for two families and a three year old. The grill was great for adults and there were lots of toys for the child. We had a service dog with us and the yard in the back was great to have. Julia was a great host communicating and checking before, throughout, and even after our stay. Highly recommend her place for the convince and location. Highly recommend Julia for being a 5 star host. There was a lot of space for everyone to spread out. Parking was ample. It was a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Great stay. The two bedrooms were private and nearly the exact same size for the two adults staying. There aren’t a lot of homes right in Martinez, so we’re happy this is here and we’d happily stay again.

We had a lovely holiday weekend in this spacious and well-furnished house. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We felt the house was set up beautifully and really had everything we needed for our large group. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend.

We had such a great stay here! The apartment was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed to bring in the new year with friends. Also loved being able to park our car in a safe area and great walkable location to great restaurants / bars. Everything looks like the pictures and Frances was great at communicating if we needed something. She even left a bottle of rosé for us in the fridge! It was wonderful, would absolutely stay again.

William was responsive host, the home was cozy coupled with many amenities. The back yard was a nice space, good experience overall.

Erin is a great host and was in quick contact with us when we needed anything. A very clean, eclectic and comfortable place in a very cool Berkeley location.

A nice apartment. A big plus was that there were multiple power strips placed in the bedrooms and in the living room to easily plug in computers and chargers. Very good and comfortable beds. Good parking for the car. Despite a lot of traffic on the road outside, there was nothing that disturbed. A good accommodation.

We were in the San Jose area to spend time visiting our grandson who is hospitalized at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. The location worked well as it was close to my son's home and a reasonable drive to Palo Alto. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. We really appreciated the private fenced area so our pets had a room to roam. It definitely was so much more relaxing that staying at a hotel with pets. Rambo was a great host.

Gina’s place is a sanctuary. The views are absolutely stunning and you feel transported, like you’ve gone to a tropical paradise. Everything was spotless and beautiful and at the same time cozy. I could not recommend this place enough.

My stay at this property was nothing short of amazing. The home was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering all the comforts one could ask for. Rose, the host, was exceptional—her hospitality made my first Airbnb experience truly unforgettable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers were luxurious. The large backyard was perfect for kids and pets to enjoy, while the main living area provided ample space for family movie nights. The driveway easily fit large trucks and SUVs, with plenty of street parking available. The quiet, clean neighborhood offered a peaceful retreat, and grocery stores were conveniently close for any shopping needs. Overall, this stay was a perfect 20/10. I will definitely be booking this property again when I visit my family!

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

This is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood! You can sleep with the windows open without issues. Alexander is a very nice host and is always available when needed and has great suggestions and otherwise will fully respect your privacy in a very proactive manner. You can use the pool upon request which we have done a number of times. The unit is a standalone dwelling and therefore fully private. You can park in the driveway and have your own entryway. I enjoyed it very much and only didn’t stay longer as he was already booked for another 4 months!

This was such a restful and productive stay for me, and I felt like I was staying in a spa retreat! Beautiful Casita with all the comforts of home and a hotel! Melodie was so welcoming and helpful, and has put together a stunning space. Location and scenery was spectacular, tho also super close to everything! I was also very productive while remote working from the Casita. Bed was super comfortable, and kitchen was well appointed to cook --I never miss the Marin Farmers Market on Sundays! I visit the area regularly and will definitely stay here again!
