Mark's cabin was so comfortable and so peaceful! We had plans to do more while we were there, but we loved the cabin so much that we ended up going out for lunch in Cortez and then coming back to the cabin to relax and enjoy the views. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Mark stopped by to say hello and check to see if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. The guide book was well done, and the little notes around the cabin about the history were like finding little surprises everywhere. We are already planning a trip back! We absolutely fell in love with Sage Canyon!

Worth every penny, exactly as described and exactly what me and my girlfriend were looking for to get away! 5 stars hands down and I would recommend it to anyone, I am looking forward to visiting again!

I had an incredible stay at the Horsehead Elk Ranch Airbnb! From the smooth check-in to the breathtaking property, everything exceeded my expectations. The hosts made me feel like family and were always available with helpful recommendations. The ranch itself is a nature lover’s dream, with stunning views and plenty of wildlife, including elk right outside the lodge. The accommodations were top-notch—immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed cozy movie nights in the home theater, hours of fun from the game closet, and even had a chance to stay active in the well-equipped weight room. The personalized touches, like a welcome sign and delicious snacks, made the experience extra special. I also loved picking up a souvenir to remember my stay. I highly recommend Horsehead Elk Ranch for anyone seeking a peaceful, memorable getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Carin Cottage in Mancos, CO, for our 6th anniversary, and it was wonderful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and you could tell the hosts designed it to be both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking on the property and the breathtaking stargazing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us great sleep after long adventures. Being off-grid allowed us to disconnect and reset, which was perfect for our stay. We had never used a compost toilet before and found that part challenging, but it's something to be prepared for if you're a city person like us. Overall, our stay was amazing, and the locals in Mancos were so kind. It warmed our hearts to hear the great things they had to say about the hosts. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, off-grid getaway!

What a gem. This is a beautiful, unique cabin in an excellent location with wonderful hosts. We (2 people and one dog) loved our stay. We split our time between visiting Canyon of the Ancients sites and relaxing at this beautiful property. The EV charging option on-site made things extra convenient for us. Joanne and Bill are friendly and accommodating hosts who have built something really special at this place. We're definitely planning on coming again!

Scrappy Duck is amazing! Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful craftsmanship throughout the yurt. Super thoughtful amenities throughout. Super spacious for our family of five (thankful that the bunkbeds were XL twins and fit our super tall teens well). We loved our time there. Loved having a full kitchen to cook our meals. So convenient to Durango and Mesa Verde but tucked away. Would come back in a heartbeat!

My family loved this house, it had plenty of room for us. We walked in and felt right at home. This place is not far from one of our favorite restaurants The Depot. The host were super friendly and easy to talk to.

Absolutely beautiful spot - so peaceful and secluded. We saw a TON of wildlife just off the house, and with Mesa Verde just outside the neighborhood, plenty of beautiful hiking all around. Perfect spot for a couple and their dog to have a quiet and restful weekend.

Saw the listing for this beautiful Cabin. Booked it, got there , Loved it. Canceled my other plans for the week, extended my 2days stay to whole week. How was it? Only being there will give one the right answer. So peaceful and homly. Mr. Ron is an awesome gentleman. I dearly miss BoBo 🐕, the Cows and the mountains that surround . It was one of those experiences that I will not only never forget but can't wait to visit again. Thanks for giving us a chance to experience the tranquility Mr. Ron. Good health to you.
