Filippo is nice and helpful and exchange the CUP with us with the ratio 1 : 125 with US dollar. The place is exactly in the old Havana and it is really easy to walk to places of interest.

MAIN REVIEW POINT AT THE END. This place looks and feels exactly as described and as the photo’s. It’s in great condition and truly embodies a Cuban vibe and feel. The location is very central and walkable to some of the main sites and restaurants in (old) Havana. The area is very lively - which I enjoyed - and gives you the feeling of being among the locals. But by far (!), the main characteristic of this accommodation is CESAR(!). He is the house manager and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. He is quite knowledgeable about his island, is always helpful, extremely responsive and I never once felt “alone” during my stay even though I was traveling solo. Cesar helped with restaurant recommendations, money exchange, being a guide, catching taxi’s and everything in between. He’s not only a people person but also very genuine and honest. He is the gem of La Casa Colonial and I suggest checking if he’s available when booking.

A beautiful colonial house in the city of Old Havana! We were two couples who stayed there for 3 nights. Ivan, our host proactively asked about our flight and arrival time and had everything prepared for our arrival. Upon arrival we were greeted by Amarylis who helps Ivan with the house and was very nice and helpful by giving us tips for food and drinks in the neighborhood. The best thing about this house is its location. Literally within walking distance to bars, restaurants and city landmarks. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Ivan’s place for your stay in Havana Vieja!

I can't rave enough about our incredible experience at La Habana, thanks in no small part to Merlinda and the entire staff! Their warmth and readiness to assist with anything we needed made our stay absolutely amazing. Each morning, I found myself eagerly anticipating my coffee outside, soaking in the serene ambiance—it was downright magical! This trip marked our family's first visit to Cuba, but it certainly won't be our last. We're already planning our return to relive the wonderful hospitality and unique charm of La Habana. Counting down the days until we're back!

I've been staying at this apartment a few times already, and it feels like my second home. Mabel is always ready to help you finding the best places in Havana, and she welcomes you with a genuine smile. Highly recommended.

I returned to Katia’s place in March and I can only reiterate what I wrote in February. Excellent place to stay some days in Old Havana. Recommended strongly.

This place is wonderful and conveniently walkable to everything in Habana Vieja with easy taxi service to elsewhere in Havana and beyond. The apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms and is very airy (AC works well too). The apartment also has some great restaurants really close by (one right next door). As for recent power outages that Cuba has faced, it is very true that the emphasis on tourism (for better or worse) excludes Habana Vieja from the rotating scheduled power outages that other neighborhoods and parts of the country experience. Ricardo was an exceptional and personable host. Havana can be tricky to navigate and Ricardo gave us very useful information and helped us exchange money for very good rates. He had the refrigerator stocked with bottle water, beer and soda for very fair prices. If you’ve never been to Havana, believe me when I say, you will appreciate these amenities. I know you will not find a kinder or more hospitable host than Ricardo. 1,000 stars!!!!

Don Evelio is a very helpful and friendly person, he helped us with everything we needed ... 100% recommended , the apartment is very nice and impeccable... the breakfasts are very plentiful and rich ... highly recommended this place

The apartment is beautiful and is conveniently located right on the border between central Havana and the Vedado neighborhood. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!!

Mabel and Walter are Amazing humans! They were so very kind. All I can say is that I knew Cuba has a poverty issue- but didn't realize what truly poor conditions the people and city were in. It broke my heart, but the people are so kind, and underneath the rubble- there is some beauty.

I am very happy that we were able to find a place where we had a great time in Havana, Cuba. And our host Calixto was particularly appealing. Looks like it really provided a nice, memorable moment. Spending a good time in a home is extremely important and Calixto's hospitality skills contributed a lot to that. Their kindness, kindness, and availability were probably critical to making us feel at home and find everything we needed. The accommodation was of high quality where all our basic needs were met and we were able to relax and recharge between explorations. Havana in Cuba is an exciting city and I'm sure you found a lot of interesting sights and experiences. The excellent location of the property allowed us to easily explore the city and access cultural and historical sites. We thank Calixto and his wife for everything.

One of the best apartments I ever rent in Havana. Big 2 bedroom classic apartment, renovated and very clean. For the first time in Havana free hi-speed WiFi was included with the apartment. The owner is very polite and helpful for check in and out. I recommend!

The service is warm and attentive, the room is also very warm, and it is very close to all the attractions in the old town.
