Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Playa Herradura

Villa Jaco was like paradise every time we looked out the window and saw the ocean! The unit itself was very comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. We made use of the pools, barbeque areas and pool table that were always accessible and well maintained. We appreciated the security surrounding the Villa and never felt nervous about touring the streets of Jaco. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Mouxh Gratis !

The condo was beautiful with a fabulous view. We enjoyed being able to go up onto the roof for the sunset. The beach is close and nice and clean. The pool can be accessed right off of the patio. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We loved our stay here for Valentines weekend. The view of the city and beach was spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean. Everything we needed was there. We would love to stay again!

The condo was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. The building is well managed and has a lovely pool and beach access. We would stay again for sure. One minor irritation was regular loud music coming from the Best Western nextdoor; however they kept it quiet before 10 am and after 10 pm. It wasn't a problem for us but may bother some.

Very happy with our stay and that of our two pets. The place with clear rules so that both we and the rest of the tenants could enjoy the safe and clean facilities.

My second stay. Great place and location.

The unit was clean, modern and comfortable with plenty of room. The property and amenities were extremely well maintained and enjoyable. Como en Casa was extremely responsive and helpful including recommendations for local tour providers. I researched the area quite a bit and highly recommend this property and its location. If not available, look for another place with Como en Casa to ensure a great experience. Neutral facts for renters: close to downtown but not in middle of noise/traffic, at least once, watch the sunset from top floor elevator lobby, beds are firm, wash your own dishes, washing machine is combo but mostly just a washer, beach accessible across the street (path thru private property but not closed or posted), gym simple but functional, wifi good in unit and common areas, use Costa Cat for Isla Tortuga, El Miro is worth the hike, groceries cheaper at Mas X Menos vs Auto Mercado, Como en Casa can reserve space at the pool grill with advance notice

The condo was better than described. We normally stay in hotels, and I’ve only been to 5 or 6 Airbnb’s. This was by far the best from the little toiletries that were included to the extra towels for the beach and anything you could think of. Costa Rican coffee was great and provided. Even a welcome bottle of wine! The condo was exceptionally clean, the communication with the owner was excellent. The view is really nice overlooking the golf course and we had our coffee there and could see beautiful macaw birds in trees. We rented the golf cart for a couple of days which is a nice way to get around. Nice thing to do is there’s a little beach just passed the marina where there are about a dozen monkeys in the trees and they will come really close to you. I would highly recommend staying at this condo.

Shelley is an invested host! She offered accurate information about activities and restaurants. Raquel the property manager was extremely responsive and helpful arranging airport transfer and activities. The location is superb – next-door to Crocs resort so you benefit of a quiet private location and pool with a gorgeous view plus a resort style pool and amenities.

Caroline was very responsive right from the booking through until checkout and after. There were plenty of towels for shower and beach. Plenty of pillows and bedding. We enjoyed the covered outside sitting area. The location is nicely situated with pool right in back and others within Veranda to choose from if desired. We really enjoyed the Beach Club which is very close and pass was provided by Caroline. We rented a golf cart which was great. There is a dedicated parking spot right in front of the condo. It allowed us to go to different restaurants by the Marina and Marriott with ease and also to Play Herradura restaurants right outside Los Suenos. We also used Uber to a couple of different restaurants and found it easy to use. Drivers abler to come right in to pick up and drop off. Loved our stay and plan on returning. Thank you Caroline!

Norman is the best host. Very communicative with excellent recommendations for our stay. His place is gorgeous and we would happily stay there again if Costa Rica weren't so far away. Loved our vacation, thank you!

My family and I have stayed many places at Airbnb’s in many places. The view from the 11th floor was amazing. This property had everything we needed for our home away from home. There was adequate kitchen supplies if we wanted to cook and lots of great restaurants nearby if we did not. We appreciated the washer and dryer as we had many rainy days during our stay. We felt safe and secure. We spent New Year’s Eve here and got to see amazing fireworks right from the balcony. The party went well into the night so be aware that you may need noise canceling headphones for party times.

Service and communication were great. The apartment was super beautiful with an amazing view.

Seriously the BEST air b and b. Jose was so kind. He gave us an early check in AND a late check out for FREE since we were worried about leaving luggage in the car while we were on an excursion. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The pools were amazing! loved everything about it! would definitely recommend!

We were here less than 24 hours but loved it! The house was so clean and we loved the setup and decor. The pools were beautiful. Mostly, the hosts were fantastic, so responsive and gave recommendations to great restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer, it was perfect for our group!

Christopher’s place is INCREDIBLE! The outdoor space was so beautiful and calm. We saw monkeys climbing through trees right over the property. Iguanas and different birds are around as well. The pool was clean - very enjoyable. We had dinner outside - so good! Christopher gave us a great recommendation for a private dinner at home and it didn’t disappoint. The grill outside works well also. The kitchen was fully stocked, and everything was clean. There is a blender to make smoothies, and the fridge has a lot of space. The living area was pretty comfortable, and it’s easy to connect to the TV with AirPlay/streaming apps. We stayed in the master bedroom. There is A/C in here, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower! There is a carport for one car. There were a ton of food options close by, and free delivery services too. Christopher provided helpful options! Downtown Jaco is only minutes away by car. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!

The host (Marlon) was very responsive and was there when we arrived to welcome us with a high class. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning in the living room, kitchen and in each of the 3 bedrooms. There are also three standing fans. The pool of the complex near the accommodation with several pools and layout is lovely. We would recommend it without hesitation. If we have a chance, we will come back.

Beautiful home right on the beach with amazing host who was always right there to assist when needed. The home was immaculate and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The living room was a great relaxing spot and my favourite was the patio table overlooking the pool. We loved this home and you can tell the owner takes pride in hosting. We will be back at the first opportunity . Highly recommended. Thank you for an amazing few days!
