Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Plakias beach

The Super Host title Menelaos holds is well deserved. Like all the guests who have stayed at this home we were given great tips and valuable information regarding Old Town Chania. The generosity provided us was one of a kind in terms of very useful items left in the apartment. Watermelon, mango, a great many oranges, apples, peaches and lemons, lots of wine, coffee, beautiful honeys, olive oils, nuts, pistachios, Asian mix and candy’s. Incredible. The washing machine does a great job and there is both a drying rack and a clothes line in the large back deck. The AirBnb description does not tell of the smart TV which allows many guests from many countries to watch TV and we also enjoyed the water filtration that is in the kitchen. I have severe food allergies so most of our meals were made at home and unlike most AirBnbs every possible gadget required to make good meals was supplied. We stayed a week and were quite sad to leave as we felt right at home in Menelaos’ place.

We have stayed in Manolis place for a week and had a great time. The apartment is situated in the city center and the location is excellent. The place itself is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a short or prolonged stay. We found it clean and ready for us upon arrival. We had excellent communication with our host Manolis who responded always within minutes. The only gripe I have is that the mattress was quite uncomfortable and a bit worn. I have a severe back problem and that caused me some discomfort, but besides that everything else was great and we had really good time. I do recommend the place, especially to people who plan to walk a lot in the city or plan to move around the island, since the bus station is 5-10 minutes on foot from the apartment.

Excellent value for money. It has everything you need for a medium length stay - well equipped kitchen, iron & ironing board, even provided slippers and toothbrush. A cleaner came during our stay (I assume this is a weekly thing) which was nice to refresh the apartment. Parking was easy (there was usually space right outside, and if not, very close by). Dimitris was a fantastic host who responded really quickly all the time. He went above and beyond, providing some great recommendations for our stay and even sending some beach towels for us to use. We had no problems during our stay, but I have total faith that Dimitris would have solved them quickly if we had.

We stayed for 9 days in a beautiful apartment, very clean and very equipped. The apartment is about 10/15 minutes from the center of Chania, in front of a supermarket and in our opinion, it is at the right distance from all the most beautiful beaches (1.45 h max). The order, cleanliness and equipment of the apartment allowed us to live our stay to the fullest! I would like to reserve a special thank you to the very cute Chrysoula. She was very kind, sociable and available to answer all our questions. She was the first person in the place we met and she really warmed our hearts to meet her... thank you! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a fantastic 7 night stay at Villa Life. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped and the pool and outside areas (including a mini gym which we weren’t expecting) were excellent. Antonis and Eleni were friendly and responsive hosts, sorting us out with a superb value car rental and responding to all queries very quickly. Plenty of parking and a short walk to lovely restaurants. Overall fully recommend!

We arrived in Chania to get to know the area and the city of Chania. We stayed in the apartment for 6 days. We arrived in Chania on a late flight, the host Yiannis asked that when we leave the airport to update him and we did. When we arrived on the street at 11:30 pm and were looking for parking , we turned a person and asked if we were to the apartment, we were surprised by the question and it turned out that it was Yanis the apartment owner who was waiting for us and arranged for us parking, (check in method, key in lockbox with code). Yanis accompanied us despite the late hour explained in detail about the apartment , and the attractions in the area. The apartment is perfectly equipped. The host made sure the apartment had fruit , bread ,water, and even a bottle of raki. The apartment is located in the main street of Chania and very close to the old town and the Venetian port, even though the apartment is located in the main street inside the apartment was quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and highly recommend Yanis the helpful and kind person.

Nice apartment, very nicely decorated with retro gear (e.g. computer games). Sparkling clean, very cozy bed, spacious balcony, everything essentials can be reached comfortably by foot. George is a great host, always very quick to respond to requests and gave us lots of helpful recommendations. Will come again anytime

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's. It is spacious and really well located, just one block back from the very pretty port and its huge selection of restaurants. It is a fifteen minute walk from the bus station. We loved the roof terrace, but the spiral staircase access would be a challenge for anyone with mobility limitations (see photo in the listing). Being located in an urban area and not having double glazing, there was an inevitable element of noise, but it didn't bother us. Anna was very responsive, helpful and responsive to our requests. It was great value and we would happily stay there again.

We had a delightful stay at this charming Airbnb. Upon our arrival, the host prepared a delicious fresh salad from her garden and gifted us oranges from her trees. It was the best fruit and vegetables we had during our time in Crete. On our departure day, her husband also made us a traditional breakfast dish, which was a wonderful treat. The absolute highlight was the Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed every evening.

Giannis place is just perfect for a family wishing to stay right in the centre of old town Chania. The location just can’t be beat and the house is just fantastic and very well accommodated with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family with kids. I highly recommend Yiannis place.

We had a great stay at Michalis's place! The location of the accommodation is ideal, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. Michalis and his son welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a little later because we had taken the more beautiful route through the city of Rethymno for us. A carafe of raki and chilled water was waiting for us to welcome us – a very nice gesture from Michalis. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the Cretan Sea and surrounded by chickens, ducks, cats and the friendly dog Bruno. Our son was thrilled and would have preferred to take all the animals with us! The house itself is large, cozy and perfectly equipped and we felt completely comfortable. Michalis’ father even surprised us with fresh eggs, a really loving attention. Overall, this place is a place to relax and enjoy. We will be happy to come back. Highly recommended!

Mike is super nice and the flat is very comfortable and sourounded by mountains. Is really nice for hiking trips as well as relaxing and sitting on the terrace and having dinner. There are 4 taverns/ hotel kitchens in omalus, which are ok tastewise. But you can also cook at Mike apartment. His raki is tasty and the olive oil also very nice. Also it’s just 5min from the Samaria entrance by car.

Beautiful Cretan style stone walls home with incredible scenery, close to the beach and surrounded by ancient olive groves.

Aggeliki and her father have been very helpful during the whole stay. there is a nice Restaurant named Sterna Chrisi Akti (1.3km distance) that is really worth visiting. great traditionell food and a very nice team. i recommend the rabbit highly !

The house is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and firm, the ACs do their job. The terrace on the upper floor offer breathtaking view views of the sunset. The neighborhood is very peaceful and calm, away from urban crowd, yet mere 30mins to the city center. Many beautiful beaches nearby. We especially loved the private inner garden with the shower. Petros is a responsive and understanding host. Fully recommend!

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. We have stayed here for a week. The host is very responsive. The apartment has everything you need, central and beautiful. We would stay at this apartment again.

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

Studio well located in Rethymno downtown convenient to explore the city by foot. If having a car, parking can be found in the square. Quiet neighbourhood overnight. Best souvlaki restaurant/take out nearby. Giorgos is a very gentle and accessible host. Thank you for everything!

Place looked exactly how it was listed, he was flexible, responsive and easy to communicate with.

The apartment is very nice! The location is centrally located in almyrida. You can look at the sea from the balcony. I can only recommend!
