Family-friendly vacation rentals in Plainview

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. I like that it is in between town and the resorts and really appreciate that it is pet friendly. We enjoyed the view of the valley from the cabin, the fireplace and hot tub too.

Jonette was super helpful with all of our questions and with this being our first air b&b experience as she took the time to help us address all of our concerns with having to bring our dogs. Luckily we didn’t have to bring them with a last minute assist from a family member! The house was as described and had everything we needed and more including a beautiful area with some great views! Definitely recommend it as a place to stay if your going to the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area as it is far enough away to not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of all the tourists but close enough I t’s not a pain to have to drive there.

Cannot say enough great things about this place! Their home was so clean and we loved how they decorated! In the heart of Valle Crucis which is stunning. Very close to the Mass General Store. Easy drive to Boone, Blowing Rock & Banner Elk. The host were so nice and welcoming! We loved the fire! We definitely want to come back asap!! Thank you so much for being great host!

Great location for the River Riders activities. Perfect house for a family or larger group looking to do multiple activities around the Harpers Ferry area. The house was nice and had plenty of sleeping spaces. The hot tub and fire pits were both popular with our kids, as was the large backyard area. Very responsive and flexible. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It's a private secluded area with your own pond and 100 acre yard! It was peaceful and a great place to come home to relax after hiking in New River Gorge every day. The cabin is well stocked with anything you would need. Our puppy had a great time too!

Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

This was the second time I’ve rented this place for my family’s new year’s getaway . My family loves it here. Very quiet,relaxing and lots of room. Plus it’s not that far from town to run and pick up extra supplies. Owner is very nice and very responsive if you are in need of anything. Would definitely use again.

This was a great, cozy, place to stay for the week we stayed there. Very peaceful neighborhood and would recommend this home. Good , responsive hosts as well.

We were in the area for a cheerleading competition at the Sevierville convention center. Loved the fact that this home was so close to the area, not just to the convention center but to Pigeon Forge and the surrounding areas. The house felt like home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband, 2 year and I brought our two dogs to this beautiful home. It felt like gone away from home. Highly recommended

Super cool, calm and fun place to stay with our family. The art and aesthetics are so unique and we loved this little escape.

We stayed almost a whole month and truly felt at home. Loved every single thing about this little cottage on an orchard. Pat is a superstar host in my book. Always responsive and helpful in any way. We loved the location it's the perfect mix of feeling isolated but really only 5 minutes to the grocery store. Everything you need for an extended stay is right here. We'll be back!

The house was a perfect spot for getting away. The location is convenient to major streets, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood. l loved the hardwood flooring throughout, all the windows, and the wood furniture. l prepared Sunday lunch for my family and comfortably seated everyone. In warmer weather, the trail and park just up the street will be great. I will say this about my host: lf/when l return, l will invite her over for tea. That is the impression she left me with! Lynn could not have been kinder, more responsive, accommodating, and compassionate.

Kevin and Joy were pleasant and responsive. Their home is lovely. We had everything we needed for the weekend. Previous reviews regarding the bathroom made me slightly nervous but it was fine. It's an older home but well kept, neat and clean. Conveniently located to shopping, resturaunts and the Convention center. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! We had a great time as a family. one thing we thought of was we were very thankful our children were at the ages (5,3,2, 7 months) they were since there was lots and lots of glass stuff sitting around.

The owner went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and she had birthday decorations and treats all over the house. We will definitely stay there again

We have stayed here several times. The Cottage has everything we need and Micaela has always been responsive to our questions. The location is quiet and easy to get to.

The perfect place to stay just outside the city with easy access to everything we wanted to do in Nashville. Great hosts and very communicative!

We had a great time! The home theater was definitely used a lot and the set up was great. Our 5 year old loved the arcade game setup as well. Would stay here again!

Both D. and Jane are incredibly hospitable and kind. The added personal touches (fresh homemade breads, charcuterie board, and herbs from their garden) really enhanced our experience. We look forward to coming back and saying longer.

The cabin was PERFECT! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. There was so much to do, the kids didn’t even want to leave to go out and do things. Erin was super helpful and available. Highly recommend!
