We were very fortunate that Long Island was not affected by the severe storms that hit Indian Lake on March 14th, 2024. Our hearts go out to the Russell Point and Lakeview residence that suffered such great losses. Our place is on Long Island at Indian Lake and 17 miles from Mad River Mountain. Restaurants and dining by land or water, family-friendly activities, nightlife. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, the quiet neighborhood, and the comfy beds.

Please be aware that the other side of the home is also rented for guests, so while the spaces are completely separate, you may hear noise from other bookings. I can't say enough about how she was immediately responsive to any questions. We had a great time, very relaxing, quiet area in Ohio, very nice, clean, and easy to get to!

Great location, very clean, very nice kitchen and dining area and great family room up stairs. It does lack privacy and needs curtains on main level and downstairs bathroom. Also could really use a place to hang clothes in downstairs bedroom and 1 upstairs bedroom. Also would suggest some form of hooks to hang towels. Over all very nice and comfortable and I would stay again.

This was our second year staying at Matthew’s place before an event in downtown Miamisburg. It was the perfect spot for our group with tons of space and wonderfully clean. The beds and couches were super comfy and the check in was seamless. Matthew was also able to accommodate our late check our request, which was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend staying here!

I cannot rave enough about William’s place! It was so comfy and had everything we needed. The rooms were all so spacious and the kitchen (which we used often) was very well equipped. Loved grilling and sitting on the patio. We will be in the area many more times and plan to check with William first for accommodations!

I booked this stay last minute because I had to take an exam for a future job after I transition out of the Marine Corps. With everything feeling chaotic, I was worried about arriving late after a 10-hour drive and possibly having trouble getting in. Thankfully, the host’s instructions were clear, and the check-in process was seamless. The space was roomy enough to accommodate all my last-minute, overpacked luggage without feeling cluttered. Since this is an upstairs apartment in a family home, you will hear some footsteps, but it wasn’t an issue for me—I was exhausted and slept like a bear. However, light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, easy to navigate, and exactly what I needed. Thank you!

My husband and I were just looking somewhere kind of close to home for a peaceful getaway and found this beautiful underground home. seen it had to get the experience and we absolutely loved it. we felt right at home it was peaceful and private just what we were looking for. the view was beautiful the horses were awesome to see in the view. we will definitely be looking to stay again in our future getaways!
