Chalet vacation rentals in Pike County

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cabin. The location cannot be beat! There is so much privacy and the lake views are just unparalleled! We loved every minute of our trip and would happily rebook in the warmer months to take advantage of all the outdoor water activities. Dariusz was also a very gracious and responsive host, and you can tell he is very invested in ensuring his guests have a good stay. Thanks again!

We had a fantastic stay at John’s lovely, cozy home! There was plenty of space for our group and 3 toddlers who loved the game room, also the games provided. We enjoyed the pool table downstairs and the spacious indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. The location was convenient, close to the lake and stores making it easy to enjoy nearby activities. John was amazing, I booked a day before and he made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families! Thank you 😊

Brian was an excellent host! He has a lovely home and it was perfect for our long weekend with our family. Absolutely beautiful outdoor surroundings with two fire pits. Lovely decor throughout his home and even a little coffee closet (so cute!). Brian was so accommodating and responsive to our many requests and always very helpful.

The Chalet made for a cozy and relaxing weekend only 1.5 hours away from the city. The house itself is clean, convenient, and situated on a lovely hill overlooking a river about 10 minutes from town. We spent most of our time indoors cuddled up but I'm sure one could take more advantage of the surrounding outdoors (river, forest, mountains.) The hosts were kind, proactive, responsive. Thanks very much!

It was our 3rd time in this house and we’ll come again. Great place. Quiet community. Excellent wood-fired sauna. Heated floors are exacly what we need for our toddler. The house is nice and clean and Edward is very responsive.

Ellen was amazing. She gave clear instruction on the check in and how to get to the location. The check in was easy and the staff at the check in were friendly. The place was clean and it had a lot of space. I love it. Had a great time.

This beautiful home was perfect for our holiday time with friends and family. It's spacious, very well laid-out, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large family room with TV, fireplace, big coffee table for games and the bar. Peggy even had it all decked out for Christmas! The configuration of the bedrooms (3 on walkout level, 2 on main level, one on upper level with a great loft) allowed us to spread out and have opportunities for quiet time for those who wanted it. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfy! Peggy's instructions for getting into the gated community were detailed and appreciated - and the folks at the gatehouse were friendly and efficient. All communication with Peggy was easy! Super responsive, clear, friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and hope to stay again some time (maybe in the summer!).

Jennifer was an amazing host. She was very proactive and responsive the entire time. She reached out with details and always answered any questions that I had. She also provided excellent recommendations about the area and the skiing!

Nice cozy chalet with lots of amenities. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were spotless. Sonos picture frame was a nice touch! Weather was a bit cold this time of the year, so couldn’t use the outdoor amenities. Had a great time staying here with family!

My family and I had the most relaxing weekend! Elyse’s place was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, comfortable, and so warm and inviting. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the home was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The dedicated space for our dogs was a thoughtful touch, and the game room was a huge hit with my 15-year-old—he was so entertained, I don’t even remember seeing him on his phone! It was truly a weekend of pure bliss. We can’t wait to return!

We had the best vacation in a very long time! Catherine’s home was just as described. It was peaceful and there was plenty to do! The amenities were plentiful! Catherine answered any questions I had in a prompt and friendly manner. We would definitely like to come back!

Cathleen’s home was a perfect getaway for our family of 13 including young kids. There were plenty of games and fun options for entertainment (darts, poker, a huge selection of tv services, etc) that kept everyone entertained! The house is in a beautiful, peaceful area loaded with amenities to enjoy. We hit a few restaurants and the ski hill to go tubing - great prices and a load of fun. Cathleen made the process of booking the home seamless, and was always available for any questions - she made us feel so welcome to her home! She also gave us so many great tips and flyers for local activities for us to do. We could not be more happy with our stay in The Hideout - we all fell in love with the area and can’t wait to return! I highly recommend staying at Cathleen’s - she made it so so easy and enjoyable! Thank you for having us :)

We reached out to Naomi on Friday evening to book for the following day through the weekend and she was so responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful as is the neighborhood. We enjoyed paddling around the river. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

The house was perfect! Cute and cozy. Very clean. It was decorated nicely. The fire pit was so nice and relaxing and the best part is all the deer that came to hang out with us while we sat around it. The house was just a short drive to the mountain where there was skiing snow tubing and snowboarding. My kids deff enjoyed the mountain and tubing. Would love to come back and have another stay in the summer to see the lake and enjoy the pool and all the summer activities. Would deff recommend staying in this cute and cozy home and we will be back in the near future !

One of my favorite places to spend Thanksgiving with my family. The place was AMAZING and what a view. Everything was a 10 plus. I would definitely come back during the summer.

We had such a great time at the lake house! Everything you need is there- fully equipped kitchen, bedding, towels, even shampoo and conditioner. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The host is super friendly, responsive and proactive. We didn't have any issues with anything. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd suggest switching to cotton bedding instead of synthetic, but that's my personal preference. We traveled with young children, and they were happy to find a few toys and puzzles in the house. Hot tub after a snowy day of tubing is the next level of relaxation. Huge TV on the ground floor was my kids favorite. The views are breathtaking. Already looking at some dates in May to come back and fish. Highly recommend!

The house is clean and we found everything we need in there (kitchen supplies and etc)! Margie is a great host. 4 bedroom and 4 baths was perfect for my couple friends ! Location is perfect as well! Winter time - ski resort close by Summer time - lake activities Hot tub was a big plus esp after skiing all day! Highly recommend!
