Excellent trail access to head towards Buffalo Mountain or to Rockhouse. Location is private with a nice outdoor fire pit to relax after riding. Lots of parking for large trailers and vehicles. Would rent again in the future.

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We loved how quiet the area is and how close it was to Pikeville and other areas. It was in a perfect spot for us! I really enjoyed how beautiful the home was. It really felt like home! Thank you for making it such an easy visit and being so kind to us! We will definitely come back and stay here! Oh, and the bed is so comfy! Everything was perfect! The quietness made it so easy to fall asleep in a new area! Thanks again!!

Great place! Location super convenient to trailhead, gas, & nearby stores!

We stayed at this house with a small group of friends, the home owners were super helpful and friendly during our visit. They made sure we had everything we needed. The property and surrounding areas of the home is amazing to sit and view. There was a variety of animals we were able to view just from the porch. Debrina and her husband were some of the most pleasant people to talk too. The outside dog onyx is a super sweet boy, we enjoyed him being out there. We’ll be coming back to stay again in the future.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I pull a 27' trailer so parking is always a concern, Maria's cabin has plenty, backed it right in, perfect! The most important thing Maria got right, TV IN EVERY ROOM!! So many places we stay do not do this, I am usually stuck watching my laptop. And, tankless hotwater heater, coming in from dusty or muddy trails, everyone gets to take a hot shower, nice! The trail riding options are nice, you can asphalt to Taylorsville and pick up a trail into Gilbert, or hit the trailhead in Delbarton ride the trails and then head down into Matewan, head over to Williamson, or head up to Man. Maria's has gas, food, stores, all within 5 minutes, its everything you need for a great trail ride, at a great price, from an awesome host. And the most important thing, the host is local, if you enjoy riding these trails keep the money local, those big resorts are nice, but all of the money is going out of state.

Absolutely spectacular place . Very clean and peaceful . Would recommend to anybody who likes to fell at home when away from home.

We loved staying at Shawnas place. It was extremely clean , and very cozy for us. We needed some peace relaxation and this was perfect . Close and convenient to everything . Host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs

I wonder if this isn't the most luxurious place to stay in the area? This upstairs apartment is an elegant home in the charming Elk Horn City, near the Breaks Interstate Park. The street is what we at home might call "old town" - what may have been the center of town a long time ago, but things have shifted away. Which is perfect as the streets are so quiet, but all the amenities are a few minutes walk away (groceries, liquor store, some restaurants, a riverside and downtown walk). At night, the whole street was lit by string lights. This, ample on-street parking, city decorations, and mural-painted buildings made for a picturesque locale. The home features high ceilings and large, commercial-grade windows, creating a roomy, elegant feel. We were provided with one bath towel, so bring your own. The kitchen is equipped well enough, but cleaned out completely between guests. Home cooks, bring your supplies.

Terry was an excellent host for my 4 day stay in the area. I liked that the unit is upstairs as I was visiting the area and that made me feel safe since I didn't know the area. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, lots of houses were decorated for Halloween which was fun! Terry provided all the information I needed ahead of time to make my check in, stay and check out absolutely seamless. The place was clean, cozy, had everything I needed and I slept like a rock! Can't wait to come back and will definitely stay at Terry's place.

This apartment is such a gem! It was tucked back in the quiet hills with a gorgeous view from the patio. Everything was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy morning coffee on the patio and prepare a couple meals. Washer and dryer are modern and stocked with detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets. We will definitely be back!
