Castiglione is one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, and among the most beautiful in Italy. The accommodation allows a comfortable use of the services offered by the village, located less than a kilometer from the center to offer spaces with privacy and silence framed by the beautiful Apuan Alps. The house is large and well organized Living area with openings on outdoor terraces and kitchen equipped with all basic necessities included. Sleeping area with 3 large bedrooms and two comfortable bathrooms. Raphael is an attentive host, but he doesn't reside in Castiglione. The lady who was supposed to welcome us was on vacation and so we checked in and checked out completely independently. Everything went well and the stay was pleasant. Definitely recommended!!!

Beautiful apartment right next to the park in Viareggio in a quiet environment. Well-furnished and equipped. Friendly host. Only a few minutes to the beach. Busy road in the vicinity. Unfortunately, a lot of trash in Viareggio, as is often the case in Italy. Beach clubs with beach access cost between 25 and 70 euros for a family. There is also a small section of the beach that is freely accessible. We can recommend the apartment for a beach holiday.

Super nice area. Beautiful pool and super lovely hosts. The arrival was no problem, even the somewhat arduous road was no longer an issue after the 2 driveway. I would just not recommend it with a deep car😉. The hosts were already on site and the check-in was a dream and can also be reached at any time. Will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended. 🫶

We (7 girlfriends) enjoyed the stay in the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She has sent us a lot of tips about the area (also the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed anything, there was a very quick response. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings beautiful. Parking has enough. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

We had a lovely stay at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and pool were a real plus. Not to mention all the little touches Carlo was able to have for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The place is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

What a lovely place and host family. The hosts Barbara and Roberto live on site with their two lovely dogs Bianca and Camilla. They have a cat, a horse, cows and chickens. There’s a terrace you can use with a table to eat outside and the absolute highlight is the pool area, which looks even more beautiful than the pictures. So clean and taken care of, surrounded by many olive trees. The apartment offers everything you could need. We’ve absolutely loved our stay! The hosts don’t speak English, but their daughter Michela does and takes care of your booking and answers questions etc. She was also super friendly and helpful when I needed medical assistance. We stayed in this house during the Lucca fair. The hosts immediately welcomed us warmly, along with the very sweet dog Luna, making us feel like we were at home. The house is located above a hill of Balbano, thus ensuring a great silence. Having a large garden, it also has ample parking, which is not to be underestimated. The house is still under renovation so it's a nice house, but with a few small fixes still missing. Overall a good experience.

Staying here was a dream come true! The view is breathtaking and the home is beautifully decorated in a cozy eclectic style while maintaining the rustic beauty of the structure itself and honoring it’s history. I will never forget this experience—ideal to visit with friends! It is located up a steep hillside and well worth the adventure to get there. Varinia literally thought of and provided every detail a guest would need. I would love to return one day!
