Everything worked out here. Very clean, modern, well-equipped apartment (great bathroom and beautiful kitchen) with magnificent terrace. The views of the Elbe and the opposite shore (sheep herd on the floodplains!) a dream; very calming. The front part of the property is separated from the street by gates; 2 parking spaces for cars. Bikes provided by the landlord. Conveniently located, by car 5 minutes to Meissen, Dresden (40 min) , Moritzburg Castle (29 min). Michael is a pleasant, very accommodating landlord. Uncomplicated and generous. Communication works smoothly and quickly, locally and in advance.

We had a great time in the very lovingly designed house. I would like to emphasize the cleanliness throughout the house. The garden and adjacent forest area had many adventures ready for the children. The stairs to the house are not to be underestimated for people even with slight walking disabilities. Due to steps of different heights, it's a bigger challenge. But the tranquility, the view and the house compensate for the effort.

A truly fantastic place. The photos don't promise too much. Right on the Elbe. The house and interiors are beautifully and lovingly designed. Top location, at the gate to Saxon Switzerland. For me, the most beautiful AirBnB ever. Those who are sensitive to noise should be prepared to notice a lot of FW1 on the upper floor. But it didn't bother us any further.

My son and I felt very comfortable The bed I was able to leave without back pain 😄 and I can say we lacked nothing. I'm glad to have found this place. Excursion destinations are good and can be reached in a short time. Absolutely recommended. Many thanks to Michael and Sabine

We spent a wonderful week in the historic half-timbered house on the farm. The chestnut tree shone in all autumn colors. Underneath is a cozy fire and barbecue area with seating . The large fireplace with two windows (kitchen and hallway) heats the whole house in a short time. The kitchen is very well equipped with many spices, oils, vinegar, etc. Everything is lovingly furnished. There was nothing missing.

We had a fantastic stay, the apartment is beautiful and offers a great view of the countryside. The landlords were always quickly accessible and very friendly, we immediately felt at home. Very cozy and simply beautiful. (: Everything in the apartment is high quality and very well maintained, we have already recommended the apartment to our friends and relatives on day 1. Everything is great!

Great and special place to stay. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Sleeping on the hayloft is really special :)

The apartment left nothing to be desired. Everything is really available in the kitchen (economy peeler, coffee filter, baking powder, rags). We really liked the fireplace! The foot heating allowed you to sit in front of it. The kids loved the foosball, darts, and the game collection.

Highly recommended. Well maintained, super professional, magnificent views and the apartment super tasteful. For me, it was a perfect place I will be happy to return to.

We were Josephine's guests for 10 days and felt super comfortable. The apartment is really great and super suitable for 5 people. Beautiful large kitchen and large dining table where we also played a lot in the evening. In addition, there is a fireplace in the garden, which we used to bake bread with the kids. There was wood on site against a small obolus - really great! We can highly recommend the apartment! Thank you for the wonderful time! :-)

We had a great weekend at Florian's place. Beautiful apartment with everything you need - even in bad weather! The forest is also right outside the door. Everything is nice and clean and the kitchen is superbly equipped. However, using the hot tub costs top money - which I couldn't read anywhere before. That would have been nice to know beforehand.

I am writing this review for my mother and her husband for whom I booked this apartment. I have been staying at Mandee's castle since the end of June with great pleasure and that was the reason why my mother and partner decided to rent an apartment in the former brewery for a week. We had a fantastic week with the three of us where we were able to explore the wide area and we all came to the conclusion that Saxony has much more to offer than we had previously thought. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped with all facilities, has comfortable beds, plenty of space to sit outside... and as the biggest plus for my mother, the possibility to take their dog Silke with them. I myself will be staying at Mandee until the end of August, and why my stay was extended from initially one month to two months actually says enough. A beautiful place, recommended for anyone who is looking for peace and nature but still wants to have many interesting (worldclass) sights in the near area.

We loved our stay at Jenny’s house! It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Our two toddlers loved the play room! It was well set up with stair gates and cups/plates for the kiddos. The house was always cosy despite -9°C and snow outside. We felt very at home and would definitely come back in Summer to make use of the garden and pool! Jenny was very attentive and came over to help us understand the heating and the electric plug in for our rental car. My only negative would be that it was a bit dusty and dirty under and around the furniture. But we are also maybe a more particular family and wouldn’t want this to discourage anyone from staying!

We felt very comfortable right away. Everything was perfect and the place was decorated with a lot of love for detail. We will be happy to come back. ☺️

The vacation in the beautifully relaxing environment of Rathewalde is highly recommended. We felt completely comfortable in the Jägerklause and are impressed by the real rock in the kitchen-living room...just wow. After hiking, you could really relax and enjoy the weather on the terrace. We'd love to come back, see you soon! (:

What a great spot! We were in Dresden as a family of four with two children and the setup was great. Easy to find, very tidy and new! We would absolutely stay here again :)

We felt very comfortable with Sven. He recommended great hiking routes in the area and even lent us hiking maps! We were also allowed to use the sauna and pool, which was a treat especially after hiking. Also for our dog the property was spacious and exciting. We will be happy to come back!

We (two people, one dog) were only there one night. It was perfect for all three.

The surroundings invite you to relax from everyday life, outside there are fields and even some sheep are on the farm. A special energy is noticeable and I can only recommend the apartment.
