The Toucan nest is a wonderful spot. Check in was easy thanks to Surens instructions and access to so much in the Arenal region is simple thanks to the location. The house is large and easily accommodated our stay and I would happily stay again.

Spent an amazing 2 months at Chris's place. Exactly what we have hoped for. The grounds and property were absolutely stunning! A true little paradise, especially if you are bird lover! A wonderful location to walk and enjoy the beauty of the lake, or walk into town to experience one of the many amazing restaurants. After we spent a day exploring, it was so nice to come back and relax in the beautiful pool! The beds were very comfy and the linens were a nice treat. Last but not least, Chris' place made us feel so at home. Chris checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. And Alex( and of course , Cindy) the property manager/ grounds keeper, added to our amazing time, his friendly smile, his whistles as he works to maintain the beautiful gardens, his funny stories and his knowledge of his country that he is so passionate about, truly was the "icing on the cake" . We feel very lucky to have found Chris' place as we now feel like we have found another home! Dave & Lisa

Very nice stay, despite constant rain ( not Mario’s fault!). The grounds are beautiful and unique. We were able to easily sleep 13 people in 5 rooms. The kids room is really for kids (king bed + 3 twin beds). The location was fantastic, nearby everything. Good recommendations. Kitchen is fully outdoors with a cover, so just be prepared to enjoy the wild of Costa Rica everywhere. The pool and grounds were beautiful. Laundry room also helped!

Sunset paradise house lives up to its namesake. The sunsets were well paired with morning rainbows. Will second that a SUV would be helpful getting up the hill, and we had some intense wind noise in the early mornings. Light drivers and sleepers be prepared. Home was luxurious and we changed plans and stayed in just to enjoy everything the house had to offer.

Great place! The beds were great, clean place, and the hot tub is a huge plus. A short drive into the middle of La Fortuna

This place is one of the best parts of our romantic trip: I would even pay them to stay outside because having such a view of the mountains while enjoying the hot tub is priceless. There is even a friendly pet Iguana that has her own favorite spots and visits you a couple times a day. Will definitely come back.

First night have trouble figuring out water temperature (this is on my side issue) Jesse responded quickly and Send Elmer right away, very impressed response time. The driving direction is very helpful. Also give me the best time window to catch the cap of volcano’s beautiful sight in the morning . We are very fortunate to stay in this location/ host literally match the name La Fortuna. Thanks you, will stay again.

Excellent place to sleep and enjoy the Fortuna region. Everything is close and the place is very nice, there is very little noise so you can rest very well. Highly recommended. I'd be back.

AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!

What a place! Waling up with hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. We weee lucky to have a clear day and see the whole volcano. Our favorite was a horseback tour with lilander- the ride was beautiful and the waterfall was magical. We highly recommend it! Thank you!

The place is beautiful, very spacious and cozy, the gardens a beauty, my family and I are in love with the place, we hope to return soon without hesitation !
