House vacation rentals in Piano Battaglia

We were there in March with our little baby. Everything was in bloom and we felt like we were in the Garden of Eden. It's very quiet, only a few times a day a train passes by. The dog is very trusting, especially with our baby. You can wonderfully spend whole days on the property: there is a small children's playground, a beautiful pool with views of the hills and fields, an olive grove, a vegetable and herb garden, a beautiful shady terrace, a barbecue area. A perfect place for us as a family, or for couples or friends. We had the whole place to ourselves - so if you're traveling alone, you have to like the solitude. :-) The Valle dei Templi in Agrigent is 40 minutes by car, as well as some beautiful beaches and the Scala dei Turchi. In short: a beautiful place with great value for money. Communication with the hosts was very easy.

Very much enjoyed staying at Salvatore’s house. Everything was as described and looked just like the photos. Pristinely clean and well accommodated, it had everything we needed. The outdoor space in particular was very special and the pool was pristine.

The experience at Gianluca's villa was simply unforgettable. Immersed in an oasis of tranquility, the villa offers unparalleled tranquility, ideal for those who want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The pool, perfectly cared for, is the real heart of the house: spending the days on the bathtub with a splendid view of the sea has been restorative. The view is breathtaking, with the sea stretching over the horizon, offering incredible shows especially at sunset. At night, the starry sky was the icing on the cake. The lack of light pollution made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. In short, this villa is perfect for those looking for an elegant and relaxing retreat, where the sea, nature and peace meet in perfect balance. Can't wait to go back!

We felt at home and in a great location, was perfect for our family

A stunning property, very much deserving of its 5-star reviews. We could not have felt more at home, with every amenity thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa is furnished to a high standard, is well locked after and spotlessly clean and the outside space..WOW! Erika, the property manager is lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful, going out of her way on a Sunday to fix a small issue with the internet which we were most grateful for. We would highly recommend this property. Due to the rural location, you will definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurant recommended to us which was a short walk away appears to have closed down, unclear if this is permanent or seasonal (we visited mid-September).

Had absolutely fantastic experience in this beautiful Sicilian house! The view was truly breathtaking. The house itself was charming, authentically furnished and equipped with everything necessary, also for our small children. The pool is large, perfect for cooling off on hot days and was well maintained. The service was also excellent. Both the caretaker and the owner were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always on hand to help us with any questions or suggestions for fun activities in the area. In short, we are very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday in Sicily.

Super kind and nice people. We arrived with public transportation, and they were so kind to pick us up at the train station, and leave us there again on the day of departure. The pool area was super. We only shared it with one other apartment, so plenty of room for all. We are a family of 5, kids aged 7, 11 and 13, and with a nice fishing village, lots of restaurants and beaches within 30 minutes walk, it was an ideal stay for us.

We had a wonderful week here. The hosts were very welcoming. We had a couple of minor issues at the start which were resolved immediately. Emanuele is a very attentive host. The house, garden and pool provide a wonderful space to relax and unwind. Going in April, the pool was pretty cold but the kids got on with it and the parents treated it as an invigorating refresher! With Cefalu just down the road, the mountains behind, and Palermo an easy day trip, there’s plenty to do if you want to.

Uncomplicated, lovable, caring, great hosts, we almost felt like part of the family - Gabriele, Ettore and Ettores mother, the good soul of the house, provided us several times with local delicacies and when the water was running out, a new 6-pack was already at the door, the same applies to the bedding - the host family is a well-established team that does everything in the background to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you!! The terrace is incredibly beautiful, I don't think there is anything comparable near Palermo, free parking right outside the door. The azure sea is right under the apartment, we were able to relax well and would like to come back, we found the hospitality in addition to this jewel of an apartment very special!

Very very nice and individually furnished tasteful apartment, very very charming terrace overlooking the fruit garden and over the whole bay, we got a bottle of red wine to welcome us and were allowed to use oranges, lemons from the garden that were really delicious!! In Santa Flavia, which is also within walking distance, there are small original grocery stores and everything you need. There is also a train connection to Palermo during the day. Filippo picked us up in the village and dropped us off at the property. Very friendly, many helpful tips about Palermo and surroundings, he also sent us further information via WA on our demand for a good term. -- Highly recommended accommodation! We felt very comfortable!

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We had very relaxing days there. The house was great, very nice and modern and the view of the sea and the rocks of Cefalu was just great.

We had a lovely stay at Marilena and Francesco's and we recommend it without a second thought. They were very discreet while remaining available if we needed them and flexible on our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very well equipped, you will find everything you need there. Walking distance to the beach in 10-15 min. We didn't know exactly where we were going, but we were very pleasantly surprised by Mondello which is close to Palermo and much quieter. Note that there are a few dogs in the area. Recommended!

It was great, the host was very kind, gave information about everything in the area. The villa matches the photos 100% and is very clean and peaceful.

We recommend highly Salvatore’s apartment for getaway vacation. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t walk to the local restaurants -Salvatore took us to large grocery store for supplies.We took taxi and Uber to get Palermo even though we had an auto. Salvatore greeted us ( waited for us because we got caught in a rain storm coming from the Valley of the Temples) He showed us the apartment and guided us on our plan to explore the area-This apartment is a great base to explore Palermo and the area this side of Sicily. We wished had more time in this area.Salvatore was a very respectable and responsive host.

Gorgeous property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Flo is the most fabulous host, providing wonderful information before arrival (including a video to help find the property and how to check in) and sent recommendations for restaurants. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the kayak/paddleboards as we missed the day when the sea was calm, but we instead went into the mountains (reached within a couple of minutes) and did a quad bike tour which was fun. Would love to return !

Perfect cleanliness, perfect location (close to Palermo airport, close to Palermo, shops, restaurants, train station, beach), instant communication with the owner who is always available

We had a good time, Antonio was very kind and left us a welcome breakfast with great coffee, he also gave us great tips for visiting Cefalù and Castelbuono with the Fiasconaro pastry shop

Loredana is a fantastic host! She responded right away when we requested a reservation. She checked in with us the day before our arrival. When she learned that we were arriving by train, she offered to pick us up at the station (not at all expected). She checked in with us once during our stay, just to make sure we were doing Ok. Upon our departure, she again offered us a ride to the train station. Her place, Casa "Al Plumbago," is absolutely beautiful! I can not over state the beauty of the view, and of the house itself. The photos don't do it justice. Be ready for lots of stairs, both in the house and getting to/from town. We had a rental car reserved for halfway through our stay. We opted to cancel it because driving and parking in Termini Imerese seem very stressful. We didn't miss having a car. The town itself has plenty of amenities, and the train station, a ten minute walk away, can take you anywhere on the north coast. We hope to come back one day and stay for a month!

I couldn’t recommend Collesano and Francesco’s house more as a base for discovering this beautiful part of Sicily. If you want to experience the true, unspoiled, and touristically untouched Sicily — yet still be close to beautiful beaches — go for it! It’s a great base for exploring the Madonie National Park, enjoying affordable Italian food, and connecting with the warm and welcoming Sicilian people. Francesco was more than helpful with his advice, and the house is spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the rooftops of Collesano and the mountains. Can’t wait to be back!

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Piero was very helpful and answered all of our questions before arriving in Pollina. He’s very responsive and kind. The house was really great for its price. We were even able to invite two people from our family during our stay. Internet was a bit tricky but we were able to buy a SIM card with 250GB of internet so we were able to work and have meetings. We recommend Piero’s place to anyone who wants to visit Sicily. It’s a bit of a drive to get to the top but well worth it because of the views and the people in Pollina are warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back next time!

I recommended this place if you travel by car. Away from the hustle abd bustle of the city. The Sea is very close. Nearby nice cafes and restaurants. The only minus - pretty bad internet. Great, responsiv host. 🤗
